“Perfection”
Reviewed 30 July 2018 for a stay in July 2018

This is our 16th visit since 2000, which should show how much we love it here. A cosy, pretty converted Chapel with everything you need for a real home from home, The Cottage stands in an amazing rural setting with wide views across lush countryside beyond the dry-stone walled garden.
During the day, the hum of bees & chorus of birdsong is occasionally interrupted by the call of a circling buzzard looking for lunch. On a stary night the sky is breathtaking - no city lights here to spoil the view - & regular visits from the owl, fox & badger neighbours makes the stay all the more magical.
There are great coves & a hundred things to do very close by. St Ives with its golden sands & Tate Gallery, lovely harbours like Mousehole & the incredible Minack Theatre, carved from the cliffs, are all a short drive away. Praa Sands, five minutes in the car, is our go-to beach for unspoiled beauty, with the welcoming Sand Bar perfect for post beach day drinks & food (sandy feet are never turned away!!) - or journey a little further for wonders like Eden or Helligan.
Mandy & Keith have made an invaluable haven that has become part of our family life, where memories made will last a lifetime in the hearts of ourselves & our children.

“Cornwall Bliss!”
Reviewed 15 July 2018 for a stay in July 2018

Cornwall was beautiful beyond expectation!

We LOVED the blue ocean, spectacular cliffs, fresh sea air, clear light, and the warm-heartedness of the people.

We had a wonderful stay in the peaceful surrounds of The Cottage in Trescowe. It was wonderful to sit outside in the twilight, look over the rolling fields, and hear nothing but quiet birdsong.

Thank you, Keith and Mandy, for sharing your piece of heaven with us.

“Peaceful Cornwall in July”
Reviewed 12 July 2018 for a stay in July 2018

This cottage was ideal for the three of us. It was very clean and comfortable. It was close to all the attractions we were hoping to see.St Michael's Mt is only 15 min in the car and St Ives is less the half an hour away.Lands End about 45 min.Mandy is a great host and nothing is two much trouble.A car is essential and just be careful on the Cornish roads they are very narrow!

“Lovely comfortable cosy cottage in a good location with lovely views.”
Reviewed 27 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Have just returned from the best holiday we have had in years. The cottage is in such a lovely location with lovely views from all windows. It is central to several tourist attractions and close to supermarkets and a chip shop and Chinese which were both excellent. It is kept to an excellent standard, very clean and the bedding and towels were so soft. Our dog daisy loved the garden which was very secure for her. On arrival the owner Mandy treated us to a lovely cream tea, most welcome after a long journey . Mandy was also very helpful with any questions we had about the local area and attractions. Would thoroughly recommend this property and I am already looking forward to returning next year.

Such a peaceful location with beautiful walks on the doorstep. The cottage has everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday and the owner is so friendly and helpful. The cream tea on arrival was such a treat and lovely way to start our holiday, thank you. We would definately stay again.

Great location, peaceful setting and lovely neighbours. Would highly reccomend this cottage and its friendly owners Mandy and Keith. Our three year old had an amazing short break in Cornwall, can't wait to go back.

“A peaceful stay”

Nicely equipped and comfortable base for visiting the west of Cornwall, quietly located about a mile inland from The sea. We were made very welcome by the owner who lives next door.
