I was shocked - food was good BUT when you are looking at over a fiver for a bacon butty (which you can get in Wetherspoons for half as much AND you get a free coffee!) of almost a TENNER for a crab butty... we stopped at a coffee and a piece of cake(still needed a mortgage!)... my suggestion look around the food is good BUT it comes with a hefty price tag!

Had lunch here, really good value for money and good quality! With seating upstairs you get a lovely view over to St Michaels Mount. Would definitely recommend.

Terrible service average musses, terrible frappe and very nice crab sandwich.
The waitress threw hot cream over me. She was only really bothered about the mess on the table and her very reluctant apology came later when she returned with the missing fries. The mussels themselves were full of grit and the wife found the frappe 'disgusting'. When asked if everything was ok the other waitress started arguing about whether the 1st one had apologized and that the mussels were fresh (fresh maybe cleaned properly no way). Oddly enough the mussels also didn't come with anything to put the empty shells in and the waitress didn't show again to ask.

The crab sandwich was very nice though so I'd stick to that.

Stopped by here on the way back from St.Michaels mount for some lunch. Great location, quieter than the other cafes in the area, which is a good thing! Nice friendly welcome. They advertised crab sandwiches and salad but not displayed on menu. However, they were made on request along with two delicious milkshakes! You couldn't have fit anymore crab into them sandwiches and it was very fresh! Only downside is we only had one standard portion of fries instead of a double. But we made no fuss as we both had plenty. We weren't aware of the price of the sandwiches so £10 each was a little steep but got our moneys worth. Worth a visit if you're in the area.
