I cannot express enough gratitude to the staff at Godolphin Arms in Marazion. We were travel-weary, loaded down with baggage had two very young children, and basically happened upon the inn my accident. Immediately Jeffery took our bags, gave us the family room (quite luxurious!) and gave advice on where to go/what to see nearby. Later we dined here, and again the staff was just lovely. The room was clean, beautiful, and super comfortable. This was s uch a great find-complete with seperate sections "adult room" and "kid room". It was gorgeous, friendly, perfectly located (bus stop is right out the door) and a good price. I will be going back, and this is the place I will stay! I rec this stop to everyone-from families to young and old. You won't be dissapointed.

We've just come home from a two night stay at the Godolphin Arms with our labrador dog coming too. The hotel/pub is in a fabulous location directly opposite St Michael's Mount in Marazion. We stayed in Room 5 which appears to be the photograph shown on Trip Advisor which has views of the Mount and it's own balcony. The staff are wonderful, completely customer focused and so helpful. The room was lovely -- well decorated and thoughtfully equipped; our dog was made to feel very welcome (they even provided a towel for him, a posh water bowl and a supply of dog biscuits). A great couple of days in an excellent location

Room Tip: Ask for a view of St Michael's Mount

We stayed 2 nights in room six in early may.
There are two amazing things that this hotel offers.
Firstly the views. The hotel is perched at the end of the causeway that leads over to St Michaels Mont and has spectacular views across the bay from both the rooms, restaurant and balconies.
Secondly the Staff. The staff here are really great, nothing is too much trouble, wether it be carrying bags to your room, showing you where to park or checking the weather and tide times for the mont, Always done with a smile, Always done well. This is rare through Cornwall! (especially Geoffrey who does breakfast)
The rooms themselves are an older style (as you would expect from a building of this age) but are very clean and comfortable and large by todays standards. As mentioned room six has a balcony which had superb views. Our only gripe was water pressure in the shower, again I suspect this is due to the age of the building.
Food in the restaurant is good quality and reasonably priced, especially sunday roast night.
In short if you are visiting Marazion this is the place to stay!!

we called by chance for cream tea, which was excellent, and were blown away by the location, just opposite from St Michael's Mount. We enquired about accomodation and were offered a reduced rate there and then for the best room in the hotel ( room 10). A double aspect view over Mounts Bay, king sized bed and a very spacious room meant we could relax and just enjoy the view. We decided to eat in the bar and sampled local seafood, which was excellent and well priced. Local beers were on draught, and service was very good. The hotel had been renovated recently, and the finish was very good. I would definately recommend a stay. Free carparking was available next to the hotel, which is a great bonus in this village.

We were lucky enough to be given vouchers for our Golden Wedding, a lovel gift. The hotel is excellent, staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Rooms were very well appointed, and so comfortable. We were lucky to have seaviews and to wake up
and see St Michaels Mount each day was a bonus. This family run establishment deserves full marks and we cant wait to visit again. Thankyou all for a lovely break with you.

I have been living in hotels on business for over 5 years, so have come across the good, bad and ugly face of custoner service.

The purpose of this trip was to attend a very good friends wedding, so we wanted to find somewhere that was comfortable and close enough to travel between Helston and St Keverne.

The Godolphin Arms fit all of the requirements and had good reviews on Trip Advisor, so a booking was made for a family room. We ended up arriving a little early, however, unlike mainstream hotels, we were assisted with our bags to our room and then provided a guided tour of the bar, restaurant and Gig bar, followed up with a window view of St Michaels Mount and a cup of coffee. We'd no sooner finished our drink and were advised the room was ready for us to move in.

We stayed two nights and ate in the restaurant on Friday evening and had breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday. The food is of a very high quality, the childrens options are very tasty (or so the empty plate suggested) and the customer service yet again was top notch. The staff at the Godolphin Arms could teach a lot of hotels a thing or two about customer service.

If you are planning a trip to Cornwall, I would highly recommend The Godolphin Arms.

Thankyou to all of the staff for making our stay a 5* experience.

We love Cornwall and often visit hotels. This trip our first night was at the little gem of a place to stay if you are visiting Cornwall try this place and watch out Padstow . On arrival I was really impressed. It was a warm welcome and check in was deftly handled. Our room was warm and comfortable with a stunning view of St Michaels Mount. I could hear the sea lapping close to our window and the sun shone on the water. We watched the sun set over a glass of wine in our room and went down for dinner. Very well done again for dinner. I can tell when people have been properly trained, it's just the right balance of throughtful and attentiveness, attention to detail. We had a wonderful meal with great service. After a long than intended stay in the bar with a great live band afterwards and a good night sleep in a very comfortable King size bed. Breakfast was managed by Jeffrey a star turn and would not be out of place in any fine dinning establishment. In amongst all of this great front of house presentation I could spot the manager in the back ground directing the operation stepping in and out doing what was needing supporting and shaping the operation. Great Team Great Leadership Great Expereince. Very well done.
