“Excellent stay”
Reviewed 4 February 2014

Excellent hotel, friendly staff and clean rooms. Have stayed in premier inns before and would recommend them to anyone wanting value for money from a budget hotel. Dont bother with travel lodge, they are way behind premier inn when it comes to service and value.

I had a very nice stay at the Premier Inn. The room was a good size, clean and the bed was very comfy. The bathroom was spacious and clean and a decent shower. The room was very warm and well equipped.

Nice modern hotel, staff were great.
Very clean and quiet. On site bar and restaurant were very nice, food was great. There is a Odeon cinema out side with a Nandos and Presso as well as two more restaurants opening soon. Lifts to all floors and auto check in which was fast.

Comfy, clean room and excellent service. Didn't hear the outside world at all once in our room and it's really easy to find from the main road. Not a huge choice of restaurants for dinner around yet but once the centre is finished that really won't be a problem. Park in the top of the multi-storey car park over the road for free to avoid the parking charges outside

We had booked two rooms a family room and a double room. We arrived close to midnight which was not an issue. The night Porter helped us to check in quickly using an automated machine and directed us to our rooms.
This hotel is brand new on a new retail pack. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds as usual were extremely comfy.
We were over looking a fairly busy road but heard no traffic noise. The rooms have a heating/air conditioning panel in them. When the temperature dropped in the night the thermostat kicked the heating on and it was a little noisy. (A minor issue.)
Great powerful shower and nice new towels.
The breakfast was very good. You can pay for either continental or Full English. The full English was cooked to order and i must say was excellent quality.
All staff were extremely friendly, helpful and efficient.
For the bargain price of £29 per room for the night plus breakfast i really couldn't complain.

Car parking - there is a multi storey across the road which you can park in on the higher levels for no charge for a maximum of 23 hours.we carried a very tired toddler across the road plus baggage and it didn't cause us any drama. Alternatively there is pay and display parking right outside the hotel.

Spent a night here with a group of family and friends over this past weekend. The hotel is in a busy square of restaurants (not all open as yet) and a cinema and is very new. Parking is busy in the area in front of the hotel which is shared with all the other businesses in the development but the multi storey immediately across the road has free parking for 23 hours on the very bottom floor (not the one you enter from the roadway) and the upper floors. There is no lift but there are plenty of cameras around so the place seems safe and secure. We were checked in by two very helpful receptionists - who seemed to do lots of other jobs in the hotel too. The rooms were very clean and comfortable (as they should be given how new it is) and the beds were supremely comfortable too. We tried to eat out but all the local places were very busy so we ended up eating back in the hotel. The menu is Italian influenced in the main and the food was actually very good. Staff made sure the two young children were served first (it was getting a bit late for them) and then the two reception staff seemed to help the one chef get the rest of our meals ready as we had a large table for our group. Food was hot, tasty, well presented and excellent value.
Breakfast was very good too - nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the poached eggs they served were cooked perfectly.
Would certainly go back here when in the area and would recommend the hotel to anyone.

Recently visited the Premier Inn in Trowbridge with the family. Excellent service from the staff, the rooms (we had interconnecting adjoining rooms) were a great size, clean and comfortable. The kids liked the fact that there was USB ports for the TV, even though we didn't have the chance to make use of this service. Breakfast was excellent.
