We had afternoon tea today and i have to say it was the best we have had (and we have had many).
The staff were very attentive and the afternoon tea was scrumptious. We had champagne and lots of tea and coffee. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough - well worth a visit.

Stayed here a while ago for a long weekend and really enjoyed it. Very spacious, comfortable rooms. Lovely bar with nice easy chairs for relaxing. Very friendly, customer oriented staff. Bus stop is outside on the road and is very convenient for going into the city. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds. Lots of golfers staying when we were there. Definitely would stay there again.

My and I spent a long weekend at the Dalmahoy Country Club in mid October 2013. This turned out to be extremely relaxing. We spent a lot of time at the hotel using the facilities and just sitting in lounges reading or chatting. The gym is well equiped and the pool a good size, there is also ample area to go for walks. Edinburgh is only about 6 miles away so reasonably close for a quick visit each day. We dined at the hotel each evening as the choice was first class and the staff brilliant. it is almost 20 years since we stayed here last (when our son was in a high chair). We agreed that it won't be 20 years before our next visit.

Was at dalmahoy today and played the west course. I was surprised how well the course is playing for this time of year. The greens are in excellent condition. There is some work getting done on this course only to make it better. Went to into shop and bar after very friendly staff. Would recommend this course to anyone looking for a great day out.

Not the first time I've been here and every time I've been it is for a conference. As a hotel it's great. The rooms are very comfortable as you come to expect for a Marriott. The food is good but what I noticed most of all was the friendly and excellent service the staff gave. As a county club it's got it all including a great golf course. As for the conference facilities they were very good as well. Looking forward to coming back soon.
