We stopped at this little roadside trattoria for lunch on the way to Courmayeur, only a few miles away. The place was full of locals, the menu is hand-written outside and verbally delivered inside by the owner. His wife does the cooking. We had a simple but excellent meal, starting with an shared antipasto of bresaola, followed by pasta with fontina, wild boar stew, dessert, coffees, and then grappa offered on the house. Including half a litre of local white wine at €6.50, the total bill was €40, excellent value for the food, service and local atmosphere. The restaurant itself is basic but comfortable. A nice place to go for a casual meal in Morgex.
