I have stayed in this Hotel from 15/2 - 21/2 2014. It is a small Hotel, with very nice and clean rooms on the central road of this beautifull village. I have to say the best for the owner Fabbio who runs the business. He was very helpfull and for everything he had a solution. The same applies for the staff of the Hotel. Generally a value for money Hotel.

Stayed for a week. Pros: the owner Fabio is great)) 3 min by car to the ski lift, or 15min of walking. Very warm cozy and clean room. Best croissants ever. Lots of tasty sweets: cakes, biscuits and ice-creams...The hotel located near the sports shop and across the street from the swimming pool.
Cons: thin walls, you can hear your neighbors walking and talking. There's no sauna or hamam.
If there's better noise insulation it would probably be the best hotel in that area, now it's just one of the best.
In general, the hotel has nice atmosphere of family run place, great authentic decoration and very reasonable price. For us it's the only place to stay in Valtournenche/Cervinia.

An absolutely unique place! Decorated with "gusto", spotless with cosy cafe downstairs. Close to the ski arena and mountain trails, surounded by castles and charming little towns. The hospitality and professionalism of the multilingual staff is really remarkable. We would definitely come back there again!

Our stay at L'Ancien Paquier was absolutely amazing. The hotel is looked after with love and care. High quality in everything and tasteful decoration. Really enjoyed every moment staying there, like at home really. We have been in small and cosy hotels before, but this one is the best so far. The free parking in the garage nearby was provided. The staff is really nice and helpful. Location is also quite nice, plenty of restaurants around. The slope lifts are in just 800 meters and free parking available there as well. Regarding skiing, the infrastructure is very good, new lifts everywhere, good for novices, as there are many blue runs and few different short slopes in the learning area.

Few words about the ground floor cafe - this is the great place to have a coffee or herbal tee after the day of skiing, good choice of biscuits and deserts. The breakfast is very nice too.

Spent 3 nights at L'Ancien Paquier, and our stay exceeded expectations. The B&B is a great value all around, but the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff made the experience truly exceptional. L'Ancien Paquier also has an agreement with the restaurant in the Al Caminetto B&B across the street to allow its guests to dine there in the evenings (I believe only during the non-ski season). Al Caminetto serves a fantastic 5-course meal for about 15 EUR per person, and we dined there on two of the three evenings. Would highly recommend the B&B and hope to stay there again.

Just got back from a one week stay at L'Ancien Paquier, I had only read good reviews so was expecting it to be great. I can only say that my expectations were totally exceeded, as were our friends who stayed too. Really nice rooms, balcony views over the mountains, impeccably cleaned, bus over the road takes you to the ski lifts, or its a 3 minute drive if you prefer to drive, free underground secure parking, lots of seating in the cafe, roaring fire, very good breakfast, staff always asking if you would like an additional coffee (no charge), just about every product (chocolate, biscuits, amazing ice cream, cakes) is made on site by Fabio. And what a host..! He is up to open at 6.00 am, makes all the food, yet always has time to talk to you, book your evening restaurant or give a useful piece of advice. All the staff are so friendly, it really is hard to fault the L'Ancien Paquier. Will definitely be back.
