“Beautiful new Chalet with everything you need around the corner!”

We stayed in this beautiful chalet during the winter holiday in feb -17. Every thinh was very nice and we missed nothing. Slopas around the corner. Supermarket and a very nice bakery close gave us fresh bread every morning. We are a family of four - two adults and two kids and had enough room in this quite small but cosy house.

“Pretty but cramped”
Reviewed 21 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Lovely welcome by owners. A few difficulties with practical issues such as the very steep staircase down to the bedroom presented both a hazard to our heads and risk of falling as there is no handrail. Also no lighting over the only small benchspace available. Chip heater effective and cheery but unfortunately programmed to come on at about 5 am with noise waking us - we have mentioned this to the owners. The bathroom is well thought-out and the chalet decor delightful.

“Great little chalet”
Reviewed 31 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

This is a brand new chalet with a kitchen and living area upstairs and a king size bed down stairs with en suite. A fire which heats the whole house and a well equipped kitchen. There are tv's in both rooms but no DVD player.

The apartment doesn't have WiFi at the moment and this would be the only improvement I could suggest.

It's a short walk to the cable cars and if you rent skis from there you can leave them there for free. Driving to the cable car took about 5 minutes and was easy to park but peak weekends you might struggle.

Valtournanche is a small village but has a few good restaurants and a couple of bars. Easily enough for a short stay. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the village, coming back is a bit uphill but nothing too bad.

Marina and her husband welcomed us and were very friendly and showed us what we needed to know.
