“Not what we thought.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Location to town:10/10. Location:6/10. Cleanliness 10/10. Facilities 6/10. Access 5/10.

Pros: easy to walk to Moraira, Quiet, Easy Access pool. Good barbecue. Air conditioned. WI-Fi reasonable..

Cons: Very difficult to access car. Only two bathrooms, no bath, pool small. Basic. Hard beds,

Would not class villa luxurious. I a built up area and pool very overlooked. Pictures on internet well taken. Felt cramped in lounge area.

Thank you for your review of Casa Tia. I would just like to clarify a few of the points made. We work hard to make sure the villa is advertised properly and facilities, features etc. are correctly set out. Casa Tia is listed as a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom property - so it did confuse me that you would list 'only 2 bathrooms' as a con. What the bathroom consists of is found in the bathroom section of the listing. The pictures are taken with my own Canon compact camera and not edited in anyway. Your comment that photos are 'well taken' is in contrast to the typical comments I receive that the photographs do not do the villa justice.
No where in Moraira can be described as built up due to our rather strict council. The house is not in the campo, it is in a peaceful, residential location very close to town. It is completely surrounded by its gardens and there are at least 20 metres between it and the neighbouring villa.
The pool is an 8x4 which is the average size for a pool in a villa with less than 6 bedrooms.
The beds are from the Calpe Bed Centre and are imported. It is the store all ex-pats go to to purchase the best beds and linen. They are not cheap and far from basic.
The pool is a little overlooked by the upstairs balcony of the house to the left of the villa. This house is owned by a French family who are barely there. It is unlucky you were holidaying at the same time.
In the arrival information given, we do explain that as you drive into the property it is best approached from the left side with zero problems. The right hand side of the drive can be tricky to master with your car. We advise all guests to read our helpful arrival information.

Casa Tia is a wonderful holiday villa very well maintained by its owners who visit 3 to 4 times every year. The location is very hard to beat and the walk to the town centre is well paved and well lit.
Of all the Rental Villas I manage, Casa Tia enjoys the highest number of return guests. Due to high demand for this villa, we are unable to discount weeks for repeat customers. The fact they still choose to return to this villa year after year, in itself speaks volumes.

“Very nice house for a family holiday”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 August 2012 for a stay in July 2012

We hired this house for our family, and our criteria for the selection was three bedrooms, private pool and closeness to shops and restaurants so we did not have to get a rental car for our stay.

We landed in Alicante and booked a private shuttle, this worked out well. Our arrival in Moraira was a bit early for checking into the house, but we had agreed to leave the luggage while the house was cleaned from the guests before us.

The house itself is very nice, every bedroom have separate air conditions - so it is possible to adjust the temperature in the rooms so nobody gets a cold. We had some trouble getting the dishwasher to work properly, and there was a cabinet door missing that we expected to get fixed but it didn't. This was just minor stuff, but I was a bit disappointed. I would also recommend to invest in some new plates that fits better in the dishwasher and some new frying pans.

The pool was excellent, and our two year old twins could run around in the yard so we always had them in sight. We used the outdoor barbeque and appreciated the refridgirator outside so we had access to cold drinks at all times.

Moraira is a very nice town, the beach was a bit crowded but we only went there once. It was more relaxing to spend time at the house with the private pool. If you would like to go somewhere with no charter tourists and enjoy a meal without the typical football shirt wearing englishmen, this is your place. The town has excellent restaurants, and the house is a five minute walk from to different grocery stores if you would like to prepare your own meals.

This is our third year at Casa Tia. The Villa is beautiful and has everything you could want to make a perfect holiday.

The pool and outdoor areas are second to none.

The location is excellent just a 10 minute walk to the town of Moraria with all its facilities.
We will most certainly return for a fourth year.

“Great stay, great location”

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Tia last year, and the service we received was excellent. Despite our late arrival, in the middle of the night due to a 5 hour flight delay, our entrance to the villa was a smooth process. Directions were easy to follow, keys were left for us in a security box, the villa was well lit with lamps on in the lounge creating ambience and best of all a pizza and bottle of wine in the fridge!
The location is hard to beat, very central and an easy walk to the beach with no steep hills, Moraira is a fantastic place to hoiliday - there are some great restaurants, our favourite being Options in the centre. We hope to visit Moraira in the future and Casa Tia will be our first choice.
