Just returned from a week stay at this hotel.
The island of kolocep is absolutely stunning and we couldn't have asked for more. We only spent a couple of days at the hotel beach and pool and spent the others finding secluded spots around the island where we could lie in the sun and dive into the sea. Bliss!
We also spent a day in Dubrovnik, which is beautiful, and caught the boat to the other islands, which are much busier than kolocep.
We would definitely recommend hiring the hotel's kayaks. We went round the island one day and found the most beautiful hidden coves etc. it took a while to get round though!
The rooms are nice, comfortable and clean. We requested a sea view which was really lovely.
The reception staff were friendly. The restaurant staff were a bit hit and miss- some were friendly and efficient, some weren't so friendly!
The only two downsides: 1. The food was pretty awful. Basic, tasteless and more suited for the German guests. One morning there were sprouts at breakfast! For lunch one day I ordered an omelette thinking no one can do an omelette wrong. I was wrong!
2. The sea urchins. Take some shoes you can swim in to avoid them. They're everywhere!
Overall, we had the best time and would definitely recommend it. More
