This is the third time the seven of us have stayed here so, yes, we think it's pretty good. There are one or two hiccups in that the smallest room is very small (ok for the bed but little room for clothes), the shower tray leaks water so make sure there's nothing on the bathroom, I've yet to use a shower head that sprays out of the designated holes rather than around the sides and the only parking is on the road. We tend to dump out kit off and park a few yards (metres) away from the door as the cars are not usually used again until we leave.
These small problems are far outweighed by the comfort of the beds, the warmth, cosiness and location of the property. To retunr from a long walk across country in cold weather and walking into a room with a log fire is a terrific experience.
The kitchen/diner is large, there are plenty of utensils (only a tater masher was missing) and the drawing room well laid out. The log fire is at the other end of the room to the television which works very well.
The wifi is included and is fast enough (I got over 10MB). There are plenty of places to eat nearby BUT it is advisable to book as Bishops Castle is very popular. If you're there on a Thursday night and like rock music then a walk to The Vaults is well worthwhile. You can take several walks from Welsh St and if you fancy going further afield then Shrewsbury is only an hour's bus ride away..
