“Better than expected”
Reviewed 5 August 2014 via mobile

For such a small building this museum is packed with historical information on lifeboats and Redcar in general.

If it hadn't of been for the parking tickets expiring we could have spent a lot longer.

The array if old photos is fantastic.

“Spent more time there than planned”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

The history of the oldest surviving lifeboat in the world - 1802 - was so well researched and laid out for the visitor that time just flew by. One of the museum helpers tagged along with us and he was so pleasant and knowledgable that it was difficult to tear ourselves away from the place. Definately a visit to recommend.
