“Forget it!”
Reviewed 2 March 2014 via mobile

Went there yesterday with friends. Last time we went it was summer which tends to make everything look better. The attendance from the staff was reasonable but the food was poor and expensive. I have been a Spanish resident for many years and this was about as bad as it gets.

“Lovely spot with a sea view”
Reviewed 30 November 2013

This is a lovely place on a great setting, the food is pretty good but beware of paying too much.Check your bill, we were overcharged, lots of extras added on.
However you will love it as it is really particular, set on a kind of pier out at sea.

“Embarrassingly Awful Food”
Reviewed 3 September 2013

WE dined with friends who were here on holiday and it was our turn to treat them. They chose the venue which surprised us as we'd had a beer here before and a sandwich at lunch time but never considered it for dinner.
We all had starters but I can't recall what, other than we got salad which was nice.
Main meals were fish and chips, which was a frozen large fish finger, very dry, with cold soggy veg on the side, steak, which was as thin and tough as old shoe leather, with cold soggy veg on the side, chicken breast, which was dry and overcooked, with soggy cold veg on the side and chicken curry with rice and , you've guessed it, soggy cold veg on the side. The chicken curry was inedible. The waiter noticed the untouched food and scrabbled for a menu to ask our friend to choose something else. He declined, we'd all had enough, we were 'done' (well and truly) We did get the bread and were charged for it, which is common here in Spain, but we didn't get any choice in the matter.
When we got the bill we were charged for the inedible food too!
Yes the view is lovely, but save it for a drink and a sandwich, the food is very poor indeed.

“Will be going back again”
Reviewed 28 August 2013

We have been here twice now this summer and both times opted for the dinner menu (even tho´one time we were a little late). The food service is a bit haphazard but polite. We had 2 small dogs with us and all waiters were very attentive as to where they trod (this doesn´t always happen). The second outing I found the cod was a little to hard on the batter (re-dipped) and the fries were somewhat lacking if you have a large appetite. It was enough for me with the previous 3 courses.
As with many Spanish restaurants you pay extra for the bread and it states on the dinner menu that 10% service charge not included.
We loved the music and found the it wasn´t intrusive on conversation.
The setting over the sea is second to none in the area and makes it well worth while the little niggles.
We shall be going back again (before it gets too cold) and have already decided to opt for the tapas menu either early evening or lunch time.
Definitely worth a visit and take a camera.
