This is a stunning cottage, comfortable, exceptionally clean and well cared for. The owners were very respectful and responsive to our questions and needs.

Everything about Sally's Garden was outstanding. Beautiful cottage in a stunning location. Would strongly recommend to anyone looking for luxury accommodation at an affordable price close to Warrenpoint or Newry.
Stayed here for a long weekend and wished we had had a week. The cottage is beautiful. Very spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. Light and airy and lovely views of the mountains. On arrival we were delighted to find a welcome basket with eggs, bread, jam, butter and CHOCOLATE and we found fresh milk and cheese in the fridge. A lovely touch. The beds were very comfortable and there was loads of storage space. Barbara was most welcoming and approachable. I would recommend a stay here to anyone wanting to explore this beautiful part of Ireland.

We spent St Patrick's weekend here with our young children. The house is really gorgeous, spotlessly clean with everything you'd need. The light in the house is lovely, as are all the little touches, and we found the whole place very relaxing and warm. The kitchen is very well-equipped and there was a lovely welcoming "Céad mÃle Fáilte' sign on the kitchen blackboard to accompany the welcome basket. The beds were very comfortable, ours had a lovely en-suite and both rooms had plenty of space to hang your clothes etc.
The cottage is situated next to a few others just outside the village of Burren, 3 km from Warrenpoint, but it is not overlooked by any of the neighbours and is very private. We had great weather and sat outside in the garden while the kids went round and round the outside of house. They headed off on adventures alone in the little field next to the house and experienced freedom they don't have in the city. It was perfectly safe. There were sheep and horses in the field across the road to be visited every day! They loved it.
The area is fantastic for walking in the Mourne Mountains, and for those with young children we would recommend the Fairy Glen in Rostrevor and the Silent Valley, but there are plenty of other places. Some good restaurants in Warrenpoint too- we'd recommend Restaurant 23 which is excellent but thankfully doesn't serve the huge portions the others do!
We'd highly recommend Sally's Garden Cottage and we'll be back!

I was lucky enough to have enjoyed the perfect Valentine break in this beautiful, charming yet modern and spacious cottage. It is perfectly secluded yet close to shops as well as the town of Warrenpoint. Attention to detail by the owners is simply outstanding - Sally's Garden Cottage is a complete home from home which has been refurbished to highest modern standards. Apart from being ultra clean and comfortable, there is nothing that the owners (Colm and Barbara) have not thought of. When a problem arose with the heating, Colm was unbelievably helpful, providing heaters and extra logs for the log burner as well as chocolates and wine as a token gesture for any inconvenience. As other reviewers have commented, the couple had also left a welcome basket of beautiful fresh items such as breads, jams, eggs and fruit - a lovely and unusual gesture indeed A stay at this wonderful cottage means you cannot help but compare its many advantages over the experience of staying at a hotel. My lovely partner had also gone to amazing lengths to make this break a very special one for me and had kept the location a surprise so that I arrived in cold and darkness to discover a beautiful, cosy cottage lit entirely by candles and warmed by a lovely log fire (as well as under-floor heating throughout). Although I live in relatively close proximity, I can honestly say this was the best break I have ever spent anywhere at any time and I cannot wait to return. Nor can I recommend this accommodation highly enough; I have no hesitation in awarding Sally's Garden Cottage a perfect 10/10! It is rare that any accommodation will manage to get everything exactly right - but this one certainly has so a very well-deserved congratulations to it's owners:-)

Wow what a cottage. Beautifully done, all tiled throughout with underfloor heating. Fully equiped kitchen. A very thoughtful welcoming basket upon arrival & some logs for the fire. Owners were so lovely. Made sure we could work heating, fire etc before leaving us to enjoy the house. Will be back again.

Friend booked this place for a weekend, and its in the countryside. When we arrived Barbara was there to welcome us to this recently renovated cottage, with two bedrooms, 1 double bedroom with en suite, 1 twin room and a good sized bathroom. The sitting room is so cosy you wouldn't want to leave. Great log fire, cosy couches and lazy boy couches, and the kitchen is very well equipped. My friend backed and cooked enjoying the size of the kitchen dn the facilities.
Barbara had left us all a gift of her own hens freshly laid eggs, which were certainly delicious, with milk and orange juice. It was like your own mum leaving a loving package for you to enjoy. Was such a wonderful touch. They are very environmentally aware giving us a compose, recycle and normal bin, which is a great feeling for us too.
I didn't want to leave, it was such a wonderful experience and we all agreed we will be wanting got go back with a partner to enjoy the hide away again!!
Getting there might be difficult but they give directions, or the gps does get it right.. Shopping is in Newry in Sainsburys, so i would suggest going shopping first so when you arrive you don't have to leave at all!!
Really 5* rating for this place… Thank you guys, we shall spread the word!
