Absolutely gorgeous setting to start with the drive along the road with the lough beside and gorgeous mountains is spectacular. The driveway up to the castle will have you going WOW! Beautiful inside, very comfortable with everything you need and again stunning views from the windows. Ramona has a wealth of local knowledge , giving great advice as to were to visit and things to do a see. A gorgeous forest park nearby having a NARNIA section was one of the things we visited and really enjoyed. If you are looking for somewhere to feel like a queen this is the place to be We loved it and hopefully one day will return

“St Patrick's Day Ball”

This place is totally amazing and a must for any traveller to Ireland.
The host, Ramona, humbly welcomes you to this lush apartment with homemade scones, real butter, fresh milk and tea and coffee at hand after your journey.
Whilst she explains how everything works and all the amenities you have;internet, washing machine, dishwasher etc you are in awe of this grand apartment-one feels regal and belonging to aristocracy especially as this apartment is situated on the grounds of Narrow Water Castle itself.
The decor is of what you would expect from a room in a castle with its Queen Anne free standing bath and large teakwood wardrobes with automans and dressing tables to compliment the furniture in each room...large grand beds with duck down duvets and Irish linen trows and a blanket box with hand knitted shawl for the short walk to the coal house out back to restock on logs, kindling and coal for the open fire on those cold nights...my god this place is so amazing and lush!!
It has central heating too with easy controlable thermostat. Chandeliers with dimmer switch to create the mood by the open fire with church candles in Turkish lanterns and candelabras. ..perfect!
I was holding an event at Narrow Water Castle-St Patrick's Day Ball-so this place was perfect for us to stay, get changed, and just go back and forth when needed.
The scenery is breathtaking in that it encompasses a patchwork quilt of green fields, farmland, forests, mountains, from the north and south of Ireland, rivers, loughs, and huge ships docking into Warrenpoint harbour in the misty evenings...sounding their foghorns on arrival so that you are aware they are docking....
Amazing!
This magical place is a must see must stay at least once in your lifetime. But shhhh,we don't want everyone to know!
Thank you Ramona, you have a real flare for decor, comfort and style. I hope to be back in the near future and will be telling all those whom I know will love to share such a wonderful experience.

I stayed here for 2 nights in January. The apartment is stunning in every way from the decor to the location. And Ramona's hosting skills just add to the experience. She was so flexible and friendly and the little touches of fresh scones and beautiful robes made it extra special. Book this apartment if you want a memorable stay in a truly stunning place.

The recently renovated 'Mount Hall' apartment at Narrow Water Castle exceeded all expectations. Full of character and charm with the benefits of contemporary amenities, this is a real gem. Ramona could not have been more helpful in making it a truly memorable New Year's break. We will be back!!

We loved the place - the location is ideal for visiting the republic and northern Ireland, the landscape is nice and there is a lot to do ( golfing is so close!, speedboating is big fun ) - and the flat is a gem! Ramona does a brilliant job and we will return as soon aus possible! Thank you for the marvellous time!!

This apartment is even better than its description suggests, offering contemporary comforts in an historic building set in a large estate. The hostess, Ramona O, lives in the same row of buildings and she could not have been more helpful. Highly recommended and we look forward to coming again!

Fantastic 4 night stay in spotless accommodation, great comfy beds and the option of central heating or using the open fire. Ramona has thought of everything, scones, butter, milk and tea in the cupboard/fridge for when you arrive. Dressing gowns and slippers, table linen and candles the little extra touches that make you feel at home, this would be a great retreat for a romantic weekend.
The property is so quiet within an amazing setting and yet in under 5 minutes you can be in Warrenpoint.
I would recommend the Whistledown for a meal out and Kilbroney Park in Rostrevor for walking, it has a great play area for children.
