Just had three fantastic nights hers, the rooms are spotless, breakfasts very very good, local produce used. Service is excellent, some hotel chains could learn from the service here. Will be most definitely be coming back here again. Have to say whilst Mablethorpe is smaller in size than nearby Skegness, the beach is far superior than "skeggy"

We have just spent 3 days at Colours Guest House and cannot fault it.Sue and Paul do anything to make your stay more enjoyable. We took our dog and don't leave him on his own and thought my husband and i would take Breakfast separately but Sue placed us up outside so we could eat together while Paul cooked a lovely Breakfast. They also do Dinner...where again we ate together..which is not only excellent but so reasonably priced. The rooms are spotless and a lovely location..so close to the beach.Thankyou Sue and Paul for a lovely stay.We will be back

Just had a very good weekend staying at the Colours. Sue and Paul cannot do enough for you. The room was very tidy, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast very satisfying and all home cooked. Unbelievable value for money.

From the first contact to check availability to our actual stay Sue has been so helpful making our stay a weekend to remember for everyone in the party. The guest house is ideally placed in a very quiet location, but near to the boating lake and sea with plenty of parking. The breakfasts were so generous that they kept us going until it was time for the lovely evening meal. We couldn't have asked for better hosts to make our time in Mablethorpe special for everyone .

Room Tip: If you like an en suite room avoid the peach and yellow rooms.

The guest house is ideally situated in a quiet location between a boating lake and the sea. All entertainment and amenities are within easy walking distance. The general areas of the guest house were clean and well maintained. Our double en-suite room was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed (well stocked refreshment tray, tv, free Wi-Fi and complimentary toiletries). Both the breakfast and evening meals were delicious - we strongly recommend you try an evening meal during your stay, you will not be disappointed! Sue and Paul are the friendliest "hosts" and make you feel more like friends than visitors. We would highly recommend this guest house to anyone visiting Mablethorpe. We enjoyed our stay so much we plan on returning soon.

'Colours' Guest House is conveniently situated between the park - near the children's paddling pool and rides - and the short sloping path to the beach. It has a small gate for ease of access to the park (although the wall is low and doesn't interrupt the view of the lake). Our rooms were beautifully quiet as the house is at the end of a small lane with no through traffic. It's particularly well-placed if you have a beach hut or want to walk or cycle along the sea front to Mablethorpe centre or Sutton-on-Sea, or simply to go to the beach. There is also a large car park so there's no need to move the car. The flat garden has plenty of room and seats for guests. Sue made us tea and coffee on arrival, which was very thoughtful after our journey. The atmosphere Sue and Paul create is relaxed and friendly but also professional - everything is tidy, comfortable and clean and the hospitality tray and bathroom pack more than equal those provided in hotels. There is also a welcome folder so you can find out what's happening in the area. The TV is small but modern and well placed so it is easy to see. There are plenty of channels to choose from and the reception was good, as it was for the free WIFI. The ground floor bedroom, including level access wet room, is ideal for those who prefer not to be upstairs and it is only a few steps to the dining room. We ate out in the evening but breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We would have liked to stay longer and hope to be back soon.
