Stayed for 2 nights in August 2014 cannot complain about anything, breakfast excellent very clean bedrooms and delightful hosts. Mablethorpes "TOP SPOT" We had previously stayed in mablethorp but did not have much luck in finding a decent bed and breakfast for a short stay, however we hid the jackpot when we googled and "Colours Guest House" came up. We will certainly recomend to family and friends.

We usually stay in hotels when we go on holiday and I was unsure what to expect on booking a five night stay at Colours Guest House. However, I certainly needn't have had any concerns. From the moment we arrived Sue and Paul made us most welcome. A nice cup of tea served after our long drive was a very good start to our stay. We were in the Lilac Room, which was lovely and light and airy with a view toward the sea. Excellent touches were the well stocked tea and coffee making facilities in the room and the toiletries in the bathroom.

Breakfasts were of a very high standard with a wide choice, in fact better than some of the hotels we have stayed in. On three occasions we had dinner in the dining room and these were all superb and good value. Sue served most of our meals proving to be the perfect hostess and Paul was extremely pleasant and a good listener. Thanks are due to them both for making our stay sufficiently enjoyable that we extended this for a further night.

In the event we return to Mablethorpe we will definitely book at Colours Guest House again and would highly recommend it to anyone planning on visiting the town.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Lilac Room which was very pleasant with en suite facilities and a good outlook towa...

I just would like to thank Sue and Paul for a lovely weekend stay at their B&B.
If you want a homely feeling then this is the place to be.
Sue & Paul treated me and my dad as family and the home cookiing was great and very filling.
The rooms were spotless and you felt so relaxed all the time.
Liittle things like Sue came out to the car park to greet my dad and myself with two brolloeys as it was raining. So nice of her.
My dad is 82, quiet and not easily pleased, but he was so happy with his stay that he's not stopped talking about it.
Many thanks Sue & Paul from Paul & George Durrands, from Grantham.

This is our 3rd visit to this wonderful guest house and we are always completely satisfied with all it has to offer and the welcome we receive.
The rooms are very well furnished with so much attention to detail hence its' 4 star rating.
It is so convenient for the beach and town so .our car remained in the car park for the whole of our stay (2 nights)..

We stayed at Colours from 21 - 26 July 2014 and had our best holiday in Mablethorpe. The breakfasts were lovely and the evening meals perfect. Sue and Paul are great hosts with every attention paid to details - from the matching room decorations and table colours to the use of wind break, bucket and spades to use on the beach. We hope to return to stay in Colours if we are fortunate to visit England again.
