“Peaceful break”
Reviewed 1 October 2016 for a stay in July 2016

This was our second visit here. It's a peaceful spot and the chalet is absolutely perfect. There is everything that you need and it is comfortable, inviting and kept very clean and well maintained. Anderby Creek's beach is great for playing in the sea on summer days and it's not too far for exploring Lincolnshire. We visited Gunby Hall, Louth, Skegness and Mablethorpe. A lovely, relaxing break.

“A trip back in time...21st Century living in an area with a 60's feel about it!”
Reviewed 27 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Water's Edge, right on the edge of a large pond, some would say lake, no fear of flooding, wildlife, ducks, geese, swallows, not many seagulls, all mod cons, peace & quiet. Huge sandy beach, miles of it, sand duny sea wall, free parking near the Cloud bar!
This accommodation, tastefully modernised by Anita provided just what we needed for a short break at the seaside. No fun of the fair here, but if you want some of the best razzmatazz the east coast can supply - travel a few miles north to Mablethorpe, main street lit up like Las Vegas, or go south to Skegness, beloved of East Midlanders for generations.
Take a peek at the info. provided by Anita, an OS map - full sheet, & very useful larger scale copies, laminated , great for the trip out to explore the countryside. Go inland to visit the Lincolnshire Wolds, or beyond Skegness to Gibraltar Point, a bird-watching venue of international status, recently rebuilt after devastating surge tides. Great for wide skys & views across the Wash, cafe for refreshments, well worth a visit.
The Vic Hallam company got it right when it designed & built the Anderby chalet in the 60's & you'll find Water's Edge is right for you now!

Liked best: Tranquility, space to breathe, view from the terrace, ducks & moorhens to watch & feed
Liked least: Having to leave the Olympus binoculars behind...on free loan, better than mine!

“Excellent holiday accommodation”
Reviewed 18 June 2016 for a stay in March 2016

This is a long overdue review, three months overdue in fact.
Stayed here for five nights just before Easter, when we wanted to go away for a few days after the winter. We didn't want to go far, so the Lincolnshire coast was the obvious choice and we were very pleased with Waters Edge.
In short, the chalet bungalow had everything we needed and is very clean and tidy. The garden overlooks a lake and we were lucky enough to have a couple of fine sunny days, which gave a taste of what it would be like in summer. The patio doors give the same view from the lounge and on a hot day with the doors open it would be just perfect.
Anderby Creek is unlike anywhere else on the Lincolnshire coast. If you're looking for amusements and noise, it isn't the place for you. But if all you want is a cafe and a couple of places for a drink in the evening (not forgetting the beach that goes on forever), then it could be just right.
Booking Waters Edge was easy, with all my questions answered promptly, even when the owner Anita was on holiday herself.
I have to say our few days far exceeded expectations and I hope to repeat the trip next year.

This chalet is exceptionally well equipped. It has everything (and more) you need, from DVD's to dog bowls !!! All really quality items. The accommodation is well presented and very comfortable. Beds and bedding great. The setting couldn't be nicer. Lovely lake, the outdoor space is brilliant. Our dog really enjoyed it and it was a safe, secure area for him.
All communication with Anita (owner) really good. Would recommend this place if you are looking to get away from hustle and bustle of daily life !! Nearby beaches absolutely gorgeous and dog friendly.

“Fantastic Location”

We recently spent 3 nights in this classically kitted out and really well looked after chalet. Backing on to the water, it was such a quiet and peaceful little place with beaches just a few minutes walk.
The chalet is not only a great place to spend time but the location is great for visits to all the local attractions.
The chalet was well equipped with everything you could need and the communication with the owner prior to our booking and after was great.
Thank you Anita
