We have just come back from a 2 day break at The Grange & Links Hotel using a KGB Deal. We had the largest room we have had in a hotel, and our friends had the bridal suite which was very nice (they have been married over 40 years!) The meals were excellent and would recommend the Faux Fillet and also the lamb which was delicious and really well presented. The men had an enjoyable game of golf and the games room was a bonus, resulting in two games of snooker. Would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room Tip: Rooms 1 & 9 were excellent, but I am sure all rooms are of an equally high standard.

We stayed here for two nights using a KGB deal which was 2 nights bed and Breakfast and Dinner on the first night. It was excellent, the food was superb. Plenty of choice for breakfast and the dinner was excellent.

Such a lovely clean hotel. We were given a large room for the two of us which was lovely.
We had a great time visiting Skegness and Mablethorpe whilst there and would return again.

The food and service is refreshingly old fashioned in a 1950s England kind of way. Plenty of food, good prices and silver service if you require. Staff are friendly especially Susan whom is full of life and so helpful. Pay it a visit as its far better than anything within walking distance were you won't find friendly proprietors !!

We stayed here on a business trip for a week. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even purchasing lactose free milk for one of the visitors.

Room Tip: The rooms overlooking the lawns have great views and are quieter.

Stayed 2 nights in a family room for 3. Room was a good size, clean and well maintained. The only down side was that it overlooked the gravel car park, so with the window open we could hear cars crunching on the gravel - not a problem late at night, but unfortunate for a family room as our daughter couldn't get to sleep until quite late. The grounds are very well maintained and have a small play area. We only ate breakfast here, and would say it was adequate. Overall, this was a good hotel, well placed and despite a few minor niggles we would recommend this place and will stay here again.

Called in today on Sunday lunchtime, attracted by the "Fresh Fish and Chips" sign. This is a really old place, with beautiful oak panelling. The welcome was warm from reception, who spelt out the options between eating in the restaurant or having a takeaway. We decided to go for the restaurant option and sat at a window seat. The view from the large restaurant is very pleasing, and it's good that they take well behaved dogs as well. The weird thing was, we had immaculate table linen and best cutlery, in this lovely room, with waiting staff in black waistcoats and bow ties. But they provided the cheapest paper napkins. We waited to have our order taken. However, it became clear that table service was not available, and we had to find a woman behind a table in the next room to place the order, and then go to the bar to get our drinks. The fish and chips were served, and we were offered condiments. We requested tartare sauce, which came in the form of four little plastic packets! How much more trouble would it be to serve it in a dish? As to the meal, it was ok, the chips were good, but the fish was disappointing, with poor batter (mind you, I am from Grimsby, so my standards are fairly high!). This hotel needs to work out whether it's upmarket, downmarket or Billingsgate Market! The Sunday carvery seemed very popular though. Overall, the visit was pleasant, the welcome warm, the prices reasonable and the food ok, but they need to re-focus their offering. A visit from the Hotel Inspector perhaps...
