This house is exactly the one needed for a quiet vacation, far away from cities. It is well equiped with à fireplace usefull every evening when it is getting fresher. The horse farm is very closed to the house with noisy fowls early in the morning.Really a nice place to have rest.
Way to improve : deck chairs or outside relax armchairs.

We have just returned from a week at Le Hambout which we thoroughly enjoyed.
The location is great, peaceful and quiet yet close to fantastic places to visit and eat out. We were fortunate to have fab weather during our stay enjoying the property's outside area to have lazy mornings over breakfast and BBQs in the sunny evenings appreciating the tranquility of the location.
We went out every day visiting the local towns and attractions which were all within easy reach - Mont St Michel, Dinard, St Malo and Cancale all great places to explore. Cancale is a must for anyone who enjoys good food, particularly seafood.
The nearby town of Dinan is well worth a visit. We went on market day, had a great well priced lunch and then had a walk around the ancient fortifications and down to the river for a coffee and cake.
The gite was tidy & clean and had everything needed. Paul and Tanya kept in touch to make sure all was ok and Rebecca popped over to ensure we had everything we needed.
We will be returning to Le Hambout in the future to enjoy the area and explore some more!

Lovely homely Gite in beautiful countryside but very near to beautiful towns and beaches, best of both worlds with plenty to do if you want to then a lovely homely Gite to come home and relax in (with horses as your neighbours!) I couldn't fault the Gite, amazing views, everything you needed to make you feel at home and a huge garden in which we had a BBQ more or less every night, really didn't want to leave !
