A great place for lunch. Lots of areas to explore, games to play and tame eels to feed. A varied menu to please all tastes.

A very welcoming place after a bike ride. Yes, there are bike stands. Going through the gate over the bridge past the children feeding the eels in the creek was like entering a fairy land. The outdoor seating is absolutely stunning, looking out onto nearly an acre of superb creativity. There were lots of families with children and they seemed to be enjoying it immensely. Watch out for the slippery creek bank. I saw one wee girl slip over. Other than that, the coffee and scones were premo with a short waiting time of 5 or 10 minutes, despite the busyness. If you like nature and have children, this is definitely the place to visit.

We heard about the 'tame' eels and had to stop. We had a fun time feeding the eels and trying to keep the cat away. We only got a little food, so I cannot comment too much on the Cafe. I can say that the Ginger Crunch was hands down the best on our trip. Walking around the grounds was a ton of fun as well. Take time to stop here if you have a chance.

Wild eels practically climb out of the creek to get fed! If you're very adventurous you can try to pet one. The cafe serves great food & drink.

If you want to be away from the city come out to Jester House for a pleasant afternnon in bush surroundings. The food is good and the staff friendly. Bring your friends and see the tame eels. Good place to take the children.
