This was absolutely the highlight of our two week trip to New Zealand. After reading the reviews, we decided to change our trip itinerary around just so we could go to Abel Tasman to do the Torrent River canyoning trip and it was SO WORTH IT! Ricky and Diana are awesome guides! They are funny, knowledgable, and super accommodating. Not only is the whole experience a thrill, the surroundings are insanely beautiful! I have done canyoning in the North Island and while that was a great experience, it didn't compare to the exhilaration and extreme fun that we had on this canyoning trip. I highly recommend Abel Tasman Canyons! DOOOOO IT, you won't be disappointed!

In New Zealand my Mrs and I did jet boating, bungee jump, river surfing and rafting along with horse riding, winery and brewery tours. The Abel Tasman Canyon day trip was clearly the best day out. Start with a relaxing scenic water taxi ride, a walk up the hill to get you warm and ready to jump in cool water, then a full day of laughter and excitement. Our group got on so well we all went back to the local pub for a few drinks. Great Day!

We had a brilliant day out with our guide Ricky!! It was a fantastic trip from start to finish - well-organised, fun, challenging, scary in parts - and Ricky was an excellent guide - his attitude was awesome and he pitched the trip in the perfect place for our ability. And what an amazing way to experience an unique and beautiful part of the country!! Would highly recommend!

We were 2 guys 25/28 years old with riki and diana. We had very little experience with canying but we have done a hole lot of other activitys and we had a blast the hole day. Got a sandwish after hiking to the start. Then some bars/hot drinks during the day. They really knew how to make us feel both safe and have a good time at the same time. Really recommend this guys!

I have never done any thing like this before and I was more than nervous being afraid of heights but it was by far the most fun I had whilst in NZ! It may seem expensive but you get lunch, pictures, a whole day of activity with amazing views and scenery which is more than a lot compared to other companies and activities. My only regret is that I should have just done this multiple times!

The guides (Riki and Diana) were absolutely amazing. They are both knowledgeable and have lovable personalities. Never once did I feel unsafe or pressured to do something I was uncomfortable doing. They were energetic, hilarious and having as much fun as we were which made the trip that much more fun for me. They deserve a raise or at least a case of beverages, that is how good they were!!

Thank you so much Abel Tasman Canyons, you guys are awesome! Everyone should do this if they are visiting NZ!! Save money and do it more than once and do it last because after this everything else is just not as fun!!

WOW! Talk about a raving review!! Thank you sooo much for that, you won't believe how happy we are to receive feedback like this. I'll make sure it gets passed on to Riki and Diana. Not sure about that raise ;) but cases of beverages are definitely going their way!
