Description: Kalami Beach Taverna is our family business, ideally situated on the beachfront of Kalami with fantastic views of the bay. Since 1980 we have welcomed locals and international visitors introducing them to traditional home-cooked food. We strongly believe that Greek cuisine is equivalent to the fantastic flavour and taste that traditional recipes offer to the lovers of delicious home-cooked food.

We dropped in here for a drink after walking down from up the hill. It was warm but overcast. Good beer and in the end we stayed for a selection of dips and pitta bread which was just right for a late lunch. Good service, an interesting menu, worth the visit at €25 for the three of us.

We've enjoyed three meals in two days and believe you me if we didn't like it we wouldn't go back.
Location.....tops
Restaurant...10/10
Staff..............courteous, friendly and will to give their service.
Food..............excellent. Fresh and Traditional meals served in worthy portion sizes.
Try Prawn Saghinaki, Chicken Souvlaki, and chicken, tomato, onion dish in a spicy sauce.
Beer of course, Corfu beer, pale and wiess.
Overall our favourite place to eat lunch and dinner and we tried 4.

The service was extremely slow and the food was just about Ok mainly because the vegetables were over cooked and mushy. This place has gone down in quality and needs a new approach give the local competition.

Well not literally, it’s actually on the beach sandwiched between the San Antonio Resort Beach Bar/Restaurant and Thomas’s Place. And it’s menu is probably halfway between their respective offerings, if I was honest.

Offering a range of Greek and Mediterranean dishes it lacks the adventure of Thomas’s Place but is a notch up from the ‘safety first’ menu of the Sea Breeze. Their food is of reasonable quality, if a little pricey but served with a smile and generally quite a busy place.

Worth a visit if you fancy some pasta or fresh sardines.

Kalami Beach Taverna is spacious and the tables are well-spread out compared with some others. There are no sunbeds and parasols to interrupt your view of the Bay.

We ate here four times during our stay and enjoyed every meal. The waiters are efficient and friendly and although the prices are a little higher than Thomas', the ambiance is a little more relaxed.
