“Great hotel”

Truly a 5 star hotel. Great views all around, The type of hotel you would just stay put in, for your holiday. Remote from other areas. 30 mins by car/ coach to Corfu town. A long walk to local bus services and taxis expensive. No problem getting sun beds at the pool or the private beach.
43 steps from hotel down to the pool and about the same again to the beach. Nice nightly entertainment, and equally nice food. Would recommend the all inclusive package due to its remoteness. Staff very friendly and attentive.

Room Tip: We were given an upgrade to a junior bungalow suite from a purchased and requested sea view , howeve...

We spent a week in Eva Palace (room 443) celebrating our honeymoon and we can not speak highly enough about the place and the staff. Always very friendly, professional and happy to help. The room was amazingly clean (and I'm very fussy) I liked the strange glass wall in the bathroom the view from our room was fab over looking the pool. The food was lovely, lots of choice and cooked to perfection. The pool was brilliant. We are already planning on coming back for perhaps our 5th or 10th anniversary.

This was our 4th (I think!!) trip to the Grecotel Eva Palace, Kommeno Bay, Corfu.

Although the Manager has changed, the Hotel remains a wonderful oasis of calm and quality on the headland between the brash resorts of Dassia and Gouvia. We received the usual warm welcome from staff, including a number that remembered us from previous visits. Special mention to Panos and Fanis in the restaurant (is that coffee ready yet Fanis....!!!?) and Wido the brilliant activities co-ordinator.

Just a couple of suggestions for improvement:
Firstly, Use the "V" sign for vegetarian options in the restaurant and secondly include a non-alcoholic cocktail in the Premium-Plus options.

The hotel was clean, the views from our balcony on the 5th floor were stunning, the food was superb and I recommend it to anyone wanting somewhere that is the absolute opposite to a cheap room in Kavos.

Room Tip: Ask in advance for a high floor room. Garden bungalows don't have the same superb view.

We have just returned from our 2nd stay at Eva Palace, we persueded our friends to join us this year and were greeted by the same staff as last year, this speaks for itself, they must be happy to work here and it comes through in their effiency and complete passion in their aime to make your holiday as relaxed and happy as possible with thier constantly smiling faces and non stop excellent service. this goes from the cleaners right up to the manager who is only to pleased to share a joke and a smile with you.
The food is excellent, and an excellent choice at every meal. wines are good and well chilled and my husband who is a beer drinker said the beer is one of the best he has had on all inclusive.
we had a fantastic garden room and our friends enyoyed the stunning views from their top floor room. Thanks to everyone at Eva palace, will definateley be coming back.

Room Tip: we prefer the garden rooms but our friends like the main building high rised, its a personal choice...

Such a wonderful place to stay! Stayed for 2 weeks in Eva Palace and celebrated our wedding there. Everything was organized in the best and most accurate way, starting from upgrading our room category and ending with the ceremony itself. They checked every detail with us prior to the ceremony (colors/music/flowers preferences etc) and went out of their way to fulfill all our wishes. Special thanks to the hotel management and to the girls from the Public Relations department Marina and Iolanda, who did really great job in helping us to make this special day so unforgettable. We also had our guests stayed at this hotel and everyone was really happy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. Always smiling and extremely attentive stuff, unusual designs of the rooms, gorgeous views, nice beach, fantastic food.. Will definitely use this chain of hotels for our future trips.

Room Tip: When booking the room category choose the Panoramic Sea View one.

Just returned from 2 wonderfully relaxing weeks at the Grecotel Eva Palace,
Our room which was on the 5th floor and at the very top corner of the hotel had absolutely amazing views out over the bay and across to Albania, the room was always spotless, and had a very quirky bathroom wall...clear glass, a little disconcerting to start with but we soon got used to it:-)

The pool bar and ALL the bar staff are all great, very friendly and very efficient, as are the restraunt staff especially Sophia who looked after us so well, also a trainee waiter named Padraihg? Who was constantly clearing and relaying tables always with a smile and hello.

On our first visit to the beach bar my friend and I ordered 2 teas and 2 beers from who we assumed was the bar man only for him to say that "sorry he wasn't the bar man, but the hotel manager" the three of us had a good laugh at this, and each time we saw him around the hotel he would always smile broadly and wag his finger, Its good to see Managers making an effort with the guests and also checking regularly with staff that everything is ok.
The food in every part of the hotel is always good, with plenty of variety, not once did we have the same choices in the evening, and there was plenty of it too!!

Thank you everyone at the Eva Palace, we had a wonderful holiday.

Room Tip: Room 551 is on the top corner and has uninterrupted, stunning views out over the bay and over to Alb...

We have just returned from a fabulous trip to this hotel during the first week of June. From the moment we saw the view from our third floor balcony we can only describe this hotel as beautiful. The hotel was definitely a step up from the 'norm' with staff always ready to help and the facilities maintained to a high standard. The room was lovely, and we could not help but keep taking photos of our view morning, noon and night. The surroundings of the hotel were very pretty, but if you are located in the main building be prepared for lots of rugged steps to get down to the pool/beach! I am not aware that there was an alternative for those with mobility issues? The pool area was always well looked after and every set of sunbeds had a table and umbrella with mattresses to go round. We got the same spot every day without any race to reserve beds. The view from the pool area is also stunning, across the bay, as it is still elevated. We stayed 'Premier Plus' (all inclusive) so could have unlimited drinks during the day and lunch was buffet/barbeque style which was lovely, plenty of choice. It was blissful to be adults only, but it would have been nice to have some background relaxing music played round the pool. It does not have to be loud and intrusive but does aid relaxation and it was sometimes really very quiet. I would however, choose this over shrieking children any day! Dinner was again buffet style and the ambience in the main restaurant was always very pleasant. The dress code was adhered to but without it feeling overly formal. Again, plenty of choice of food. We did not venture to the evening entertainment much during our stay but what we did see was enjoyable.
The hotel is in a perfect location for short transfers from the airport and also close to Corfu town for a shopping trip. We went by taxi although the hotel does offer a bus service. We wanted the freedom to do what we wanted, and as it is so close it was not an expensive fare. The hotel arranged the taxi for us and the driver helped us with hints for an enjoyable day in the town.
All in all it was one of our best greek island trips to date. We will definitely aim to re-visit this hotel.

Room Tip: Third floor upwards for beautiful views.
