The hotel is ok, the pool is wonderfull and the location is very good.
But: the breakfast is very poor and not so good (even the coffe is crappy), the rooms were not so clean and the management of the hotel (the management, not the stuff - they were wonderfull) is unfriendly and disappointing.

The first impression upon arrival we were particularly negative. First we had no means to transport the luggage to the rooms, there is no ramp baggage transfer, only stairs.
The rooms were not clean, there was dust everywhere and cobwebs at various points of the room.
As for breakfast, it certainly does not meet the fourth star hotel. In principle concerning the area of the breakfast tablecloths were dirty, there were cobwebs under the chairs, and several of the dishes were not clean. Regarding the breakfast offered was limited by several shortcomings.
It is expected from a fourth star hotel to provide pool towels.
The website does not correspond to the actual image of the hotel, creating false customer expectations.

GOOD POINTS: Kamari is a very beautiful hotel, renovated with style, elegant and clean. It is situaded on the beautiful beach of San Antonio in a very quiet place and the beach chairs are free for the hotel guests. The pool is large and deep enough, very beautiful and perfect for swimming and relaxation. The cleaning ladies are doing a great job, the rooms are cleaned every day and the sheets are changed 3/4 times per week. You can have breakfast inside the dinning room or outside on a beautiful terrace with a great view on the see, palms and pool.
BAD POINTS: The hotel doesn't have a restaurant and you have to use the car for getting in Potos for lunch and dinner. The garden rooms are a great idea, but there are lots of insects getting in your room that create big discomfort, especially mosquitos. The breakfast is between 8 and 10 AM. If you arrive at 9:45 AM you can only serve what remained from others, which means a poor menu.

First of all, I would like to say that this hotel is BEUATIFUL! Nicely build, with absolutely wonderful garden, excellent swimming pool and prime location. It is a real Beach hotel, literally ON the long sandy beach. You can really enjoy in the wonderful Thassos nature, if you like. If your room looks on the hillside, you can watch sheep coming from the hill in the morning! All kinds of Mediterranean plants around you, you can stroll to the top of the hill, to watch ancient ruins, dated from the Neolithic era! I can also recommend a tavern Sea Breeze, just a hundreds of meters down the beach, with good food and very kind young hosts. Rooms are small, but if you like the sea, if you want peace and relaxed atmosphere, Kamari is first class hotel!

Room Tip: I prefer higher floors, the view is nicer.

an old hotel that did a retuch to its rooms. The best of all is that is 10 feets away from the very nice beach of San Antonio. Not the best choice but for the money i think it worth.

Room Tip: "Higher floors have less A/C unit noise"

The hotel is located in a very convenient place quiet, yet not far away from the night fusion of Potos village! It is renovated but some parts of it are still deserted(Shade roof in the dining area, old marble floors etc.Although the cleaning ladies were excellent at their work the restaurant area was dirty and unattended. The rooms provide all the promise, but there was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom every time we had the room closed for hours! The bed mattress was the best I've ever slept on!!!!!Superb comfort! Breakfast is below average, for the money paid. The beach in front of the hotel is great for relaxation and the pool area too!! Overall it was a very good choice but for less money!

I have just returned from a week vacation with wife and 2 young children (age 4 and 7). The hotel is value for money, although the recently renovated rooms were not large enough. The most positive remarks: 1) large and very convenient swimming pools, 2) expensive bed and linen (Coco mat). A very friendly taverna 50 meters away.
If you go there, don't miss a short excursion to Megalos Potos (or Kazaviti).
I would recommend this hotel, especially to families with children.
