We have travelled to a lot of different countries, but we found the Mountain View Hotel by far the friendliest and most accommodating. Sue and her staff have got it right. Food was very good and the rooms clean and comfortable. We thank you all for a lovely stay and look forward to seeing you again soon, hopefully for a longer time.

Room Tip: Opt to stay in a room overlooking the pool. View of mountains and sea on both sides are stunning.

This is a very nice hotel. The staff Sue, Hafis, Esther, John, and others will go out of their way to accommodate you.
You would expect that though, but they do go the extra mile.
First impressions were " oh my goodness, what have we booked up here" but this place really is different.
We stayed in May, as a group, 6 adults and baby, B&B, in the hotel. A few problems at first, minor things, were sorted out immediately by John.
The rooms are a bit dated, but clean & comfortable enough to get a good nights kip.
The hotel is a bit out of the way, but just a 10 - 15 min stroll to the dolmush & bus stop.
I have read on another review that someone paid 25 TL for a cab to - from the town, well more fool them, because we got several cabs and it never cost that much.
There are loads of restaurants around the area, very good ones too. We had a light lunch most days around the pool, which was impeccably cleaned every day.
The drinks are cheap and you can always check your bill daily. They do not take money over the bar.
This is a family run hotel, the service is very good. If you are expecting 5 star all inclusive, then don't go here, if you want a nice location with a friendly atmosphere, good service, and a decent breakfast to start the day, then I can recommend the MVH.

Room Tip: Front has sun in morning

May 2014. Arrived 1.30am after spending approx 1 hr in a dark lane somewhere, even our pick up driver could not find this hotel.Signs but not clear on directions somebody found us to guide us in.My husband & i are insulin dependent diabetic's we last ate on plane we were not offered any food or drink apart from a bottle of water We.paid extra to stay to stay in a bungalow the furnishing's were very shabby the mattress on bed was so uncomfortable like lying on a wooden frame only without a mattress. The patio door did not lock i did not sleep that night we did not feel safe as it was a ground floor very poor lighting around area .Spoke to lady in charge said we were lying nothing wrong with it .Breakfast laid out in cling film bowls other guest said you had to get in quick when it's gone it's gone,Did not know there are so many ways to cook chicken every night one of two choices +veggie choice.Every night your dinner guests were 2 dogs in dining room.Totally not suitable for disabled people you need a car to far from anywhere 25 lira taxi ride each way to town, too far to walk to main road unless you are very fit no entertainment We moved to a different hotel after 2 nights. With a better attitude this lady could have resolved problems satisfactory

We spent 5 days at Mountain View, celebrating our wedding anniversary. We had not been for about 3 years for various reasons but used to go every year. As usual the welcome and the hospitality is wonderful.
The hotel is ideally situated for some lovely restaurants, Ambience being one - highly recommended and the Carpenters which is just a short walk from the hotel.
We always stay in one of the villas which have been recently refurbished and offer spacious accommodation and are very close to the Olympic size swimming pool.
Sue has become a very good friend over the years and makes your stay so pleasant. Can't wait for next year to return yet again.

Room Tip: We like to stay on the first floor close to the swimming pool

Absolutely faultless & yes we were the couple who married at the hotel in May! We have holidayed a number of times at the hotel and have enjoyed excellent stays on each occasion. Sue organised the wedding superbly and the whole day was one we will never forget. Family & friends who flew over and stayed at the hotel for the first time were equally taken with the fantastic individual service and relaxed atmosphere - as well as the the dogs Jackson & Jungle who both behaved impeccably!

Room Tip: If you like that "extra" space then choose one of the villas.
