Losing count of how many times we have stayed in Dove Cottage, about 6 I think, husband and I love it, cosy, homely, clean and in ideal spot for walking or touring. Patrick is always helpful, I'm pretty sure we'll be back again soon.
Dove cottage is lovely - beautiful, comfortable and very cosy. My wife and I stayed here for an anniversary weekend and loved every moment.
Patrick was really helpful in the run-up to our stay, arranging for breakfast supplies to be delivered from the Village Stores before our arrival, and supplying a mobile phone that worked in the village (only O2 and Three have reception).
The village is gorgeous, and everything you could possibly need including shops, a tea room and a great pub are only a few steps away from the cottage.
We stayed in Manifold cottage attached next to Dove. It was a lovely old cottage in a quiet courtyard. Lovely area with couple of pubs. Devonshire Arms were so friendly and food was very good and nice to sit and people watch outside as this is hub for walkers and cyclists. We also ate at pub across the road Charles Cotton which was nice too. We booked through Hartington Cottages and Patrick was very helpful.
We were greeting by very friendly cleaner who helped when we could not get TV to work.
Cottage was lovely and clean.
You dont get any mobile reception at the cottage but thats not a bad thing!
We were central to all other villages that were only a short drive away.
At end of our stay we booked ourselves in for breakfast at the Manifold Inn which we have done before in the past and that did not disappoint. Would not hesitate to go back.
Top rate accommodation in lovely village. Try the Devonshire Arms for a great meal and it's only a few yards away!
Only stayed in cottage for 3 days, very clean , tidy & comfortable, great location for walks, good pub ( Devonshire Arms) serving food & drink, highly recommend cottage, will return
Lovely,peaceful cottage, with everything you need. Close to some great towns, villages, walks and a fantastic cheese shop in the center of harrington that needs to be sampled.
