Lively town centre pub. Good sized car park. A little 'faded' but clean and good sized Full English Breakfast. Excellent value.

I stayed overnight with my wife at The Bee Hotel and I have no complaints. I suppose you would describe it a a large pub with rooms upstairs. However this sort of establishment suits us as they are normally very central to the town and have more character than a place such as a Premier Inn. The staff were really friendly and the service was good. The room although old fashioned compared to modern hotels was a reasonable size, clean and cheerful. It was an en-suite room with a shower/bath. The price we paid for one night was £50 for two which was excellent as it included a cooked breakfast. Unfortunately the TV in the bar downstairs wasn't working so we went elsewhere to watch the Carling Cup Final. I'm sure this problem will soon be sorted. We were only up in Wales for one night but we would have quite happily stayed for longer in this hotel.

Room Tip: There were about ten rooms I think. Maybe a few more. You do however have to use stairs as there was...

Honestly, it's probably the friendliest pub/hotel I've had the pleasure to stay at. A brilliant historic building and surrounding area, really friendly and second to none service. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: There is a dog on the premises, which is the landlords, so pets may be allowed, not sure though
