Great food! I had the steak burger, cooked well and proper, lovely cheese and most important I had proper bacon in it! Very gorgeous, chips were proper chunky chips with plenty of potato. Very impressed with the choice of drinks available and outside seating.

Will be back here again!

Thank Daniel T

After reading other reviews of The Bull we decided to pay a visit while camping nearby recently. I have to say that it lived up to expectation and food was very good. A large part of the dining area was cordoned off for a private function but we found a table in the lower area near the bar no problem. Drinks orders were taken at the table and food arrived in a timely manor. All 4 meals were hot, well presented and were very good. We recommended to family who visited the following day and they also had high praise and enjoyed their meals. Would return if in the area again

We had initially tried to eat in another pub but they weren’t serving food but they directed us in the direction of The Bull Hotel especially as we had our 2 year old daughter. Well we were incredibly happy that they did, we ended up eating here 2 nights in a row after long days spent at Chester Zoo.
It is such a great find, the first night we chose from the Grill section, hubby had the mixed grill which was huge, I had the surf and turf and our little girl had sausage, egg, peas and beans with a side of veg dish. All of the portions were massive especially for the price they charge and the food is delicious, the meat tastes very good quality and it was all cooked excellently.
The next night we went back and my daughter requested a burger so we decided to all go burger. Again they were all fantastic and massive, we went for pudding in the second night. I warn you the chocolate cake could be shared amongst 4 but it is delicious.
We really were impressed at everything they had to offer; the staff were lovely and even recognised us the second night, the locals were friendly, the decor was funky and the food was fabulous.
The only tiny downside is that they don’t have a baby changing facility so we had to nip out to the car to change our little one.
It’s so nice finding somewhere that offers a good selection of children’s meals and well cooked veg when you are on holiday

Had visited the Bull for lunch some time ago and been disappointed but this time around we were delighted with our evening meal. Super meal, Steak Pie, and very pleasantly served. Would definitely return.
