Firstly, for the price we paid, we decided we should rather have saved some money by going to a Travelodge or Premier Inn - and breakfast wasn't even included! Secondly, it was not very welcoming (a little haphazard and basic), and thirdly, the room we got was not that nice. The bed was king sized (two singles pushed together with a mattress topper), but the bathroom was not very clean - you could see the mould staining in the grout between the tiles, and generally it didn't look well kept. The kettle was in the 70s style, and the decoration was very dated. There was a great big crack in the corner of the room which looked structural as opposed to being in the plaster. It was at least 2 cm deep and ran from ceiling to floor.
Also, the availability/variety of the food from room service wasn't great. You'll have to go into Wantage if you want any kind of food, and even then you won't have much choice. The place is like a ghost town.
We would recommend requesting one of the rooms in the pictures BEFORE paying, and to be honest, we would recommend going somewhere else if you can.More
