The team did try to make every effort to find clear skies, When Daniel took us to two sites on one night - Nice when we had the option to photograph at other areas as well to make different perspectives in the pictures, and get away from power lines :) Learnt a lot and Daniel was great in helping to set up camera and advice for shooting Aurora, as lighting so different. Glad we did the trip with Aurora Services, feel confident to do it on our own now.

We were in Utgard with Andrew and had a fabulous week. As others have said, he goes "above and beyond" to find the best possible places to view the Aurora - despite what the official weather forecasts predicted, he successfully found the spots where the clouds had opened. Andrew's enthusiasm is infectious and his warmth and humour certainly made the long drives enjoyable.

Highly recommend the Sami museum and the dog sledding day trips. Make sure to wear the snowsuits provided!

Aurora Tours makes honest claims, they really are aurora chasers, and take care of all the details to ensure their clients have the best chance of seeing a light show.

Just returned from Northern Finland chasing the northern Lights with Tony of Aurora Service tours, First you have to understand, Tony , who founded the company, and the other location guides are fanatics about the Northern Lights, They want to see them every night just as much as their guests, They know where and when the best places are , even if it means driving several hundred Kilometres to find the best place for the guests to see the lights. The holiday could not be better, the Cabins, 1 per couple, are warm and comfortable and in a beautiful location, The cold weather gear provided is excellent, but do check out Tony's clothing guide, it can be a whole new level of chilly at 70 degrees north. Tony, our guide, is very knowledgeable about all things Aurora, and Photographing it, as well as being an all round nice guy . There is a reason why these tours sell out every year, they are the best, Book one and find out for yourself just how good they are, Low numbers of guests on each tour ensure a feeling of traveling and holidaying with friends, and in fact by the end of the holiday you will be with friends. To sum up , memorable, fantastic, fun, great people, great memories. And the aurora 4 nights out of 4.
Best tip, even if your tired first night , keep checking outside for the Auroras, if its clear it is likely to appear above the Cabins and you don,t want to miss it, and if you do see it try to tell everyone else its there, I think you can tell I enjoyed it :-)

Everything about Aurora Services was great. I was on the Midgard tour from 29 Feb to 4 Mar 2016. We had an amazing Aurora show on our first night. The second night was really cloudy but our guide Dan did a great job trying to find somewhere in Lapland where we could get a break in the clouds. Likewise, our 3rd and 4th nights had a bit of cloud around so we drove to find clear skies but unfortunately the aurora activity was not strong enough to put on a great show but there was a little something in the sky to feed our aurora appetite.

The effort by Dan, in coordination with the other guides Tony and Andrew, gave us every opportunity to view the aurora which is why I'd recommend these guys. As a keen photography and astronomy enthusiast, I could really tell these guys do these tours for the love of the aurora and wanting to share that experience with people.

The day activities are well organised. I only did the husky ride which I'd highly recommend. It was wonderful to slide along the snow in the peace and quiet. It really allowed you to absorb the landscape with which you found yourself.

The cabins were also a very high standard. They had everything you could need to do your own cooking, good heating (that made you forget just how cold it was), sauna, comfortable beds and strong wi fi.

Overall, this was a great experience and I cannot wait to have the opportunity to come back.
