The localization of the hotel is so Nice if you long for holiday without car, with beach and in a quite area! It is 10 min walking to the beach. We have been staying there in the last 3 years and we consider Praia Verde one of te best in the Algarve area. It is a typical long sandy beach with the most warm water (in summer) you can find in Portugal, simply great for children because the sea is almost without waves. You have great restaurants at walking distance from the hotel, on the beach like Pezinhos na Areia, O Infante and in the next beach, Sem Espinhas. The other great thing about the hotel it is its dimension - small so not much confusion.
Breakfast is great and restaurant options are good (not cheap).
The hotel is going under renovation currently and the outside and common areas are very nice...
The suites will be renovated after Summer and they really need. The area is ok but the furniture is getting too much used and not well mantained. They told us that the sofas are now being changed in June and the rest of the furniture after Summer, so it should get much improved. TV offer is poor because of low signal and wireless is free in the reception area but signal is not the best (it is ok for general use, more difficult for VPN connection, but sometimes you get it).
I strongly recommend Praia Verde and the hotel considering the renovation they are caring (for me it is the best hotel in the area)

Stayed for what was initially meant to be three days and then extended to six in February. The hotel has recently changed owners and there are lots of improvements going on, including to furnishings, decor and the general offering (including dinner service on premises, which is great given that not many other options are available in the immediate vicinity during the winter months - there are also plans for wifi to extend throughout the hotel, rather than internet being available through one cable in the room). Staff could also not have been more helpful and friendly in suggesting places to go, what to do, where to eat.

The location is excellent, in a quiet semi-residential area, with a short walk to a fantastic long beach and short driving distances to shops and sights. Views from the second floor terraces are of pine trees and the sea, which was ideal for the days we didn't feel like doing much more than read.

Rooms do need an update, especially for furnishings, but this seems to be ongoing. It's also worth noting that the kitchenette is small and quite basic, although was also to be reviewed. Even without the improvements, we wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Staff were very welcoming, the location was good with be beach a short 5/10 minute walk, lacked a 'walkable' shop but overall very happy. Breakfast was prompt and even though it is not normally available until 8 they put us breakfast on at 6 the day we left

We stayed at Suite Hotel Praia Verde from 13 to 20th of September. Besides having an excellent weather, we were very pleased with our choice - walking distance from the beach (about 10/12 minutes), good room with enough storage for a week stay for two (including our own beach chairs and umbrella), a professional staff and a good breakfast.
The only complain is not having at least a beach umbrella included in the hotel price; we took ours (umbrella and 2 chairs)and saved 15€ per day.
For lunch or dinner there is a good restaurant "Restaurante Panorâmico Infante", located over the beach, which was our favourite with a good choice of fish and seafood dishes.

Great place for family or romantic break.
Be prepared for a 15 min. walk to the beach.

Nice, quiet place, near the beach (700m) - 5 to 10mn walking.
Staff is very friendly and professional, rooms are clean, but furniture is showing some usage already.
It has a small swimming pool in the hotel location and access to the panoramic one, close to the beach.
On the hotel there's a restaurant, that serves snacks. The real restaurant is the Infante, close to the beach.

I recommend the place for families, looking for a quiet place where they can walk to the beach. Remind it is a 10mn walk, wnd it can be an adventure if you are with small children (3 years and bellow).
