Great facilities and a very warm welcome for the six weeks I stayed. Neil and Dilys were great hosts, there's plenty of space (especially in the newer rooms) and good cable TV channels. The location is perfect- easy to find, short walk into town and quiet inside the rooms.

I stayed at the Touchwood Motor Lodge for 5 months as I was on secondment for work.
It was a relaxing stay - Neil and Dilys are amazing hosts that are willing to help you with anything you need.

I would often come home to fresh fruit or banana cake which was nice to have being far away from home!

All the facilities you want - including laundry and it's a close walk to the local shops / main street.

As we were relocating, we needed some suitable longer term accomodation (3 weeks). Because there were number of re-occurring events in the area, we had to move out for 4 days in this period as there were repeat annual bookings. Neil set about finding us alternative accomodation and sorted that all for us. They then let us securely store the things we didn't need to take for the 4 days and had it all back in our rooms on return.
The unit we had was exceptionally clean and tidy, well organised and had everything we needed. Access to the barbque was a bonus and helped break up our motel existence (this was the end of 3 months in them...).
The whole experince was fantastic and its not hard to see why Neil and Dilys have won the awards they have. Can't rate them highly enough and if we have people coming to Puke in need of accomodation, there is only one place we will be recommending.

Room Tip: We had the 6 person unit. Downstairs was the living area, dining area and kitchen. Upstairs were 2 bedrooms, two toilets and shower/bathroom. Excellent for a family of 3 boys.

We stayed as a group (taking over the entire Motor Lodge for 5 days!) for the V8SC race and as the organiser, I can't recommend Touchwood Motor Lodge enough! The rooms were excellent, and Neil & Dilys were brilliant to deal with. They went above & beyond when it came to service, and we are already booked in for next year to stay again. Overall, a fabulous experience!

This motel offers reasonale value at corporate rates. I had a 1 bedroom unit, one of three at ground level. Good parking. Clean. Tidy. A little dated. I think all motels should have a heat pump these days. The noisy electric free standing heater days are gone, especially in winter. Great for one or two nights in warmer weather. Front office very friendly.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a heat pump unless you done mind lower temperatures.

Thank you for posting a review on Touchwood. We appreciate all feedback as it will help us manage and grow our business for the future. Thanks for the feedback on the heaters. We did not realise they were noisy and will endeavour to rectify this. We look forward to hosting you again in the future
