Description: The Aldwark Arms is a beautiful village dining pub offering locally sourced, freshly cooked produce. Our menus change seasonally throughout the year. A la Carte, Early Bird, Special Event Nights and extensive lunch menus are available. We have an excellent selection of fine wines, stunning gins and many changing real ales. Members of Camra and Cask Marque accredited. We also received a tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence every year since we have been trading and have 5 stars out of 5 for our food hygiene rating.

My wife and I travelled from Scarborough after hearing great reviews about the food and reception at the Aldwark arms. We were not disappointed the staff were very friendly and the food was some of the best we have had in a long time. We will definitely return and a thank you to the staff for a very nice evening.

Nice decor, comfy seating & relaxed atmosphere perfect for a family Sunday Lunch. Simple menu with good food choices although I can't recommend the roast beef strongly enough, best I've had in years. Misses out on Top Marks with the smallest vegetable portions I've seen in years. Such a shame because the bar & waiting staff are brilliant.

We were staying in Rising Sun Cottage for the week and had an excellent meal at the Aldwark Arms. The food was of a very good quality and the staff were extremely friendly, it would be great to have something of this quality in our village!

Called in there this evening for dinner before heading home. Great welcome friendly staff. The food was so nice homemade soup yummy followed by steak an ale pie, I have never seen a pie so full of extremely lean meat. The whole experience was a pleasure. Will certainly return. Keep up the good work xx
