What a bargain - so close to the beach - lovely people - clean - what more can I say !! Go there - but..... Take a little cash to eat out as boiled eggs are nice although variety is nice!!! Food out is delicious and inexpensive and in walking distance so don't let the 'egg' buffet put you off - loved it - going back next year :-)

My daughter and I were on our 1st holiday to Turunc, it was my daughters 1st holiday to Turkey too.We arrived in the middle of the night, but were met by an English speaking night porter who was friendly and had a smile for us. We were taken to a room on the 1st floor which was basic but clean and aqueduct, what more do you need than a bed, bathroom and balcony.
The rooms were cleaned every day if you wanted them to be there was a switch that illuminated a symbol outside red or green, letting the maid know if we wanted cleaning or not.
We had to cross the street to get to the restaurant which was fine by us, there was an indoor or outdoor eating area. The one downfall was the food there wasn't a lot of variety but its was a budget holiday so we didn't expect much more. There was a cafe, bar or restaurant on every corner and a discount was offered in one for the hotel customers. The hotel had a small swimming pool in the bar/ outdoor eating area which was accessible on our visit but in peak season there are more table and chairs arranged around it. the hotel has its own beach area with sunbeds, mattresses and little plastic tables for drinks.
Overall we had a relaxing, comfortable holiday and are hoping to go back again next year

Room Tip: Even though we were not in the hotel part with the restaurant, I recommend the main part has it has...

We stayed here between 31/5/2014 and 10/6/2014. After reading some of the reviews I was very apprehensive, but I was very wrong to be so.

We had a room overlooking the mountains and the view of these was spectacular. The room was newly decorated and furnished with clean lines, and it would appear that they are slowly refurbishing the hotel. As we left they were fitting new towel rails outside and new toilet roll holders.

Other reviewers have said that staff are unfriendly, but this certainly was not the case on the whole, and especially when it came to the cleaners who always had a friendly smile and couldn't do enough for us. The standard of cleanliness, too, was as good as anywhere we have stayed. The manager and reception staff were helpful and friendly. Some of the bar staff could perhaps have smiled a bit more, but I think this was mainly down to language confusion - there are many nationalities staying at the hotel and not many of them could speak Turkish!

People had complained about the food in previous reviews, but it was freshly prepared, the salads were wonderful and there was quite a variety of meat; the puddings were lovely.

We had a great holiday and will certainly stay there again.

Can I just point out that the hotel offers all inclusive, a fridge in your bedroom, a TV and friendly service and we paid £12.00 a night; what's not to like!

Having just returned from a week here. We travelled as a couple on our first abroad holiday without the kids. So we were looking for something that said RELAX and that is what we done here. Rooms lovely and clean and newly refurbished. We were offered a mountain or street view and opted for the mountain view which was very picturesque . we spent every day on the beach as there were no umbrellas around the side of the pool that had beds but as it was only a few steps up from the beach you could still have a dip in the pool if the sea is not your thing. The beach is quite stoney around the sea edge so Swim shoes are a good idea.i agree with others about the food very simple and repetitive but as you are on the street loads of other cheap places to eat. the staff were friendly but their English is limited. But I was in their country so that did not matter . They said your welcome when we said Thank you . Overall for the price we paid We will be returning. Oh and the transfer is a bit of a chore but if cheap clean and sun you want highly recommended .

Room Tip: The rooms on the front - street view are opposite the mosque which has regular prayers so are not th...

I normally stay at My Meric but this year I decided to bring my wife and stay at the refurbished Oz-can hotel looks nice from the out side
Looking at things the morning we arrived room was dusty white dust everywhere but it's just been refurbished so to manager and cleaners did the room the pool area was ok staff very friendly and helpful beach area fine but as for the dinning area.
Food ok similar to My Meric which is what I expected but only Turkish breakfast had it twice eat out rest of time afternoon dinner fine salad, meats and cheeses but evening meal tried 3 times thinking first night was a mistake but the hot food was COLD and the three times it was the same thing no variation eat out after that also most of the plates had chips out of them don't think if will go there again till things change

i have just returned from a two week break in ozcan hotel, I stayed here in September 2013 and found the food to be continental and not always to my taste but good quality and was always something on menu i could eat, and tons of fresh salad, cheese, and bread, the soup was nice, I found the food to be the same this year but the hotel has been undergoing refurbishment and the rooms are great now ,the staff some times struggle to speak English but were friendly and attentive to my needs, and helpful. All in All this holiday was value for money the rooms are of a good standard now and food and staff are what you would expect in most hotels in turkey, the manager was most helpfull and exchanged our rooms to sea view which is stunning for no extra charge and couldn't do enough to make my friends and me holiday a good one. The rooms were cleaned regularly and new towels and bedding changed when u requested.

Room Tip: The ozcan has three blocks the main reception block which is nice but to get the beutifullist views...
