We never visit the same hotel twice but this was our third visit to Delfino Blu and it never disappoints. We arrived to the same warm welcome from all the staff who remembered us as though we were family and the little extra touches of extras both in our room and in the dining room and beach bar were generous beyond belief. It was like coming home!

Everything about this hotel is wonderful, from the stunning situation next to the sandy beach, the best breakfasts ever and the magic sunsets every evening whilst enjoying a superb 5-course dinner overlooking the bay.

Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are all really charming and most speak a multitude of languages. In the office Georgia and Monica were so efficient and pleasant, even helping us to find our way round a new i-pad we had just purchased!

We are a 75-year old couple (who think we're 40!) who love quiet special boutique hotels and this one is by far and away top of the list. We have tentatively booked again for next year and can't wait to visit again!

Congratulations to Kostas and his wonderful team.

Our family (parents and two kids) spent two weeks at Delfino Blu in July. Although travelling frequently, we have rarely come across a hotel where nearly everything is perfect and couldnt be better. First and foremost, one has to mention the very welcoming friendly and always helpful staff. The owner takes care of each and every detail. Service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the hotel rooms were comfortable, nice and tastefully decorated. The hotel has a nice swimming pool and direct access to the beach. We found it also perfect for holidays with kids, as there are many kids around. But it certainly is also a wonderful place for couples coming alone. Another amazing aspect is the incredible view from the terrace, especially at sunset.

What a treat to spend 4 nights in this picturesque hotel overlooking Agios Stefanos beach. The staff were exceptionally friendly & gave us the most genuine, heartfelt service I have ever come across, they really could not do enough for us. The breakfast & dinner was superb & our favourite time of day was while we were relaxing on the double 4-poster beds by the pool, drinking a cocktail & watching the sun set.....heaven!

Room Tip: For groups of friends, Room 5 was perfect - 2 bedrooms, a large living/kitchen area & a lovely b...

Costas and his staff have something truly unique in this hotel. Every single member of staff treats you like family and always greet you with a warm smile. They genuinely care about you having perfect stay and their service is clearly heartfelt. Nothing was too much trouble for them catering to our 'unusual' group of six newly 40 year olds! (normal clientele seems to be young families and older couples).
A small hotel with loads of space around the pol and inside and a great base away from the busier parts of corfu. It was full but still felt very quiet.
We all travel regularly over the world and have stayed in some top class hotels. Rooms are not slick or modern but perfectly clean, authentic and comfortable - the difference here is genuine greek hospitality and service driven by the heart.
Breakfast was a feast of everything imaginable and the one night we ate in the hotel was also excellent.

My wife and I just spent a decadent week at Delfino Blu and to be perfectly candid, the stay was nothing less than FANTASTIC.
I usually employ superlatives very sparingly but in this case I can't use enough. Delfino Blu is that good. 'Fair dinkum' as they say 'downunder'.

Not sure what it is about the place but there is something going on here that sets it well apart from the pack. They really go above and beyond any call of duty.

Is it the friendliness of the multinational/multilingual staff, every single one of them, from top to bottom?
They are truly, genuinely, friendly people and oh so accommodating. Too many names to list here but I will just mention the two front-desk ladies, Georgia and Monica. They are little gems. But we cannot speak highly enough of all the other hotel staff. Lovely people.

Is it the extra touches (so many of them complimentary) that surprise and delight?

Is it the rooms? Pardon, did I say 'rooms'? Forget your ideas of normal hotel rooms, Delfino Blu's are not normal. For starters they cannot fairly be described as rooms. Apartments? Suites? Whatever, they are definitely NOT 'rooms'. Luxurious, comfortable, tastefully decorated, functional, spotless. Good free WiFi, too.

Is it the wonderful food? We had all but one meal in-house at either the Mango Bar or the Kohili Restaurant. This was not planned, but after sampling their extensive menu it was just plain nuts to consider going elsewhere. The one meal 'out' was 'pretty average'.
A word about their buffet breakfasts. Wow!
Now, more words about them. Ever been anywhere where you can enjoy champagne and Roquefort cheese for breakfast? And for me that was just the beginning. I greedily grazed through 5-course breakfasts at the open-to-the-sea, terraced Kohili. The choice and quality was bigger and better than at any other place we have breakfasted, and our stay on Corfu was near the end of a three month trip away.
Kostas, our charming host, turned me into an addict of the Greek yoghurt, walnuts and honey (from his brother's mainland hives) and was adamant that this combination was just what a man needed each morning to give him 'stamina' all day long (?).
Oh, speaking of stamina, my wife raved about a Greek speciality called stamna. She also reckons the spaghetti Napolitana was the best she had ever eaten, period. And the prawns? To die for.
Our last dinner there was so special with photos and presents and complimentary dishes - we were quite overwhelmed.

Is it the delightful architecture, plants, paving and lighting that combine to give this 'boutique hotel' a certain romantic feel? It's really peaceful, too, apart from the gentle lapping of the waves.

We also saw a small wedding at Delfino Blu and agreed that it would be a brilliant place to celebrate a wedding and then occupy the top-floor honeymoon suite. Apparently it has its own BBQ and four-poster bed. It certainly has the best view.

Just realised I haven't mentioned the pool bar, or the beach bar/cafe, or the beautiful pool, or the wonderful beach (very family friendly or, if you like, nudist further along) or the views of the sea, islands and Albanian mountains, or the complimentary ice buckets with bottled water brought to guests using the hotel's sun lounges and umbrellas on the beach.

Aside from the Delfino Blu's unchallenged advantages, its location, high above Agios Stefanos beach, also provides a wonderful vista of the aquamarine Mediterranean Sea and its gorgeous sunsets.
Our 'studio' (ha) faced the setting sun and we watched the spectacle every night. Just magic. Nearly forgot; we also had a large balcony that included (because we were on the corner) a small lush lawn.
In both the main hotel, and next door in one of the completely refurbished and modernised suites (I won't/can't call them studios) the attention to detail is meticulous.

Are there ANY negatives at all? Well, I guess if we were really really tough markers we could find a couple of teeny things, but way too inconsequential to even mention here.

Our online booking at Delfino Blu was made half a year ahead and solely on information found on Trip Advisor. This can have its pitfalls, but not in this case. Everything exceeded our expectations, by a lot. It was a stunning way to cap off a long holiday.

Will we be back, even from far-away Australia? You betcha!

We have now stayed at DelfinoBlu during the last two summers, during our European holiday with our Australian friends. Overlooking Agios Stefanios beach I would best describe this hotel as a modern excellent maintained boutique hotel with all the facilities, pool, gym, bars, restaurant etc that will exceed your needs for a relaxing holiday. From the hotel we were able to visit other parts of Corfu, a really beautiful island with lots of history and great beaches. What really sets DelfinoBlu apart is the friendly staff who really make you feel welcome and are always there to both service you and answer all your questions. We will definitely be returning to DelfinoBlu to once again visit Kostas and the team.
