Stayed in September 17, was a little disappointed with the studios, looks great from the outside, the pool was filthy and the pool bar has not been used for years . A very lifeless place , I would not return.

Room tip: they are all the same , basic basic basic

The place itself is well located, with many bars and restaurants surrounding it and the views from our balcony were stunning. There is a bus that runs somewhat regularly to the beach which is a bit of a walk away - very steep hills and extremely difficult in the heat. On the negative side: the beds were awfully uncomfortable and upon inspection the mattresses and pillows were stained. Housekeeping came twice in ten days to change the bins, bedding etc which is not frequent enough considering the toilet paper in bin rule! There is no fan in the room and air con is charged extra at €6 per night. The kitchenware was mismatched - rusty cutlery, no two plates/ mugs/ glasses matched, rusty pots and pans and nothing to serve with. The hob had one broken knob meaning it was impossible to know what temp you were cooking on. The shower was desperate for regrouting and was freezing cold until the late afternoon. The pool area is nice but there are limited sun beds and only three umbrellas so it’s fine if you want to sit in the sun all day! The owners were generally quite unhelpful. Overall it is good for the money when considering the location but facilities and quality leaves much to desire!! Probably will return to this beautiful town but not to Casa De Blue.

Mary & her family run these studios. Mary is very welcoming & always takes time to chat. The area around these studios has tavernas & stores, so you don’t have to travel far if you don’t want to. I stayed in a first floor studio & the views out to sea were lovely. I would definitely recommend staying here if you want a basic base with views & a pool.

We're a small family visiting Kefalonia for the first time.
We were not planning to eat out but came across Casa de Blue.
The restaurant sits in front of holiday apartments.
We had a lovely table upstairs so had a great view of the sea & surrounding area.
Our food was delicious & cocktails were excellent too. The staff were so friendly relaxed & welcoming. They couldn't do enough for us.
When it was time to pay their card machine wasn't working. We were told no problem just call & pay tomorrow!!
Genuine people & we will be eating here again!!!

Just returned from a week at Casa De Blue, for the very reasonable price you have a clean and functional studio from which you can explore the beauty of the island. Great views from the balcony. Plenty of restaurants and cocktail bars nearby. The nearest beach, Lourdas is quite a trek. We had a car and would recommend this an an option. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.
