We stayed in the corali beach for two weeks in June/July and it was wonderful. There was only the two of us but we had an apartment with a double bedroom and three single beds in the living area there was an basic kitchen and bathroom but it was very charming and the balcony and sea views were to die for the best ever. We had a thirty second walk to a small area of beach and although there was a larger beach further along and another beach past the harbour we used this beach for the whole stay as it was quieter. We only had a five minute walk to the bars restaurants and shops so all in all We cant wait to go back and hopefully to the Corali beach.

Room Tip: rooms are all sea facing and the view is amazing

Arrived at corali beach yesterday (04.06.2014) around 12 o'clock. The woman working at the reception didn't speak any english. There seemed to be a mix up with our reservation since she first tried to put us in a smaller room (we booked a room with separate bed room). We spoke to the manager Alex on the phone and they gave us the room we booked for. The reason we chose to stay at corali was that they had a kitchen. The ”kitchen” is a dirty old fridge, an even dirtier old kettle and a dirty sink. Actually the whole room was quite dirty on arrival. We complained and a maid came to wash the floors for us. I asked about the ”kitchen” and told Alex they had pictures of a room with a nice modern kitchen with an oven on the internet, he just said they had a problem. I didn’t argue about it anymore.
We thought for the money we are paying (245e/7 nights) we cannot expect luxury and that is ok. But unfortunately even that is too much to pay when you actually can't sleep on your holiday. There is absolutely no air in the apartment. The smell was very mouldy ever since we arrived, but in the night the apartment gets hot and the air just stands. Tried to turn on air conditionning since you can't open the windows because of mosquitoes (which is of course not corali’s fault) but there were no batteries in the remote control. I’m writing this at 4:35 in the morning and I hope this problem will be solved when someone comes back to the reception. I would be looking for alternative accomodations right about now but the internet also doesen’t seem to be working in our room. All in all we are very disappoined and stayed last week in another apartment in vasilikos at the exact same price and it was A LOT better.

The problem was solved this way:
Alex showed us a much nicer smaller room which we accepted.
Since he didn't want to show us an other room in the same category as we had booked and already paid for, I demanded him to give us some kind of refund for accepting to stay in a smaller room. I was tired after not sleeping so accepted to pay (25e/night for the studio) He gave us a refund in cash from his own wallet (70euros).

The "nicer room" was just ok. Nothing more.
It also had a "kitchenette", but seriously it is nothing more than having a fridge.
The maid service is a joke. They don't change the towels which look like tissues to mop the floor with. Also don't expect to get new bedlinen during 1 week stay.

I have attached pictures to my review.
Pros:
Very nice balcony (floors are dirty) with lovely view.
Nice location in Planos (Tsilivi's restaurants 10min walk away) with easy access to the beach
Nice (VERY) little pool suitable for children
Easy to find parking on the street just outside the hotel
Cons:
The rooms are old mouldy and bathrooms are miniature
The WiFi doesn’t work very well
The ”kitchen” is completely useless
No safe in the room
Old towels
Bad services
Maid service only minimum

Room Tip: If they try to show you a room in the small building with red brick pilars in front of the main buil...

We have stayed here the last two summers and have just booked to go again this year. A great family run business. The place is spotless and gets cleaned every day with the sheets changed ever couple of days.
It is situated one minute from the beach and a short walk to lots of restaurants and supermarkets! We stayed at the top storey apartment and the views are amazing!

Stayed at Corali Beach from 17th September to 24th September. We stayed in a sea view apartment which has the most stunning views. Room was spotlessly clean with clean sheets three or four times during our stay. Towels were changed every day and cleaning was every day. We found the manager Alex to be very very nice and helpful. Nothing was a problem. I would recommend Corali Beach if you would like somewhere quiet and peaceful with stunning views of the beach. They have air conditioning (free of charge) which is a bonus too. Staff were friendly.

The hotel is Ok. We stayed at one bedroom apartment in the 3rd floor with garden view. The kitchen is very basic, count only the fridge. No mesh at the balcony doors, so no chance to sleep at open door without mosquitoes biting.

Room Tip: Choose a sea view room.

Very nice and clean apartments, the sea view is amazing and worth the little bit extra, huge balcony overlooking the quaint harbour.

Amazing sunrise views.

Kitchen basic, but ate out most of the time.

Try Freddies Bar along the beach, excellent food and great hostess.
