This is a wonderful studio around 3km outside of Tsilivi crammed full of amazing pieces of ceramic art all inspired by Zakynthos. We were greated by Dionysia, the owner, who greated us with glasses of homemade lemonade, so refreshing on a hot day, and left us to wander around her studio. There were so many pieces to choose from that it was hard to pick. She has items to suit every budget with small ceramic turtles and boats, which are glazed to reflect the beautiful turquoise waters around the island, priced at 3 to 5 Euro.
The roads up to the studio are very quiet with only the occasional car and are surrounded by olive groves and lemon and lime trees. Take water and suncream if you walk up, you'll need it

We arrived and were blown away how beautiful the ceramics are. All inspired from Zakynthos. So of course we went a little crazy and had to buy some keepsakes and gifts for our relatives. They are reasonably priced and are unique. After spending well over an hour looking at the ceramics and having a dilemma at what to buy, we were offered a lovely homemade glass of Dionysia's lemonade. We were allowed to walk through her families ancient Olive Groves, some of the trees were 2000 years old. My husband was blown away being fascinated by Roman and Ancient Greek history and was only disappointing that they couldn't give their secrets away.
