My boyfriend and I really couldn't have asked for more! Our room was spacious and kept clean all the time - cleaners make a visit everyday and every 2/3 days they change sheets and towels etc. They kitchen was well equipped, hair dryer is supplied in the bathroom, comfy sofa/bed, satellite TV, plenty of sockets etc.
The views from the apartments were stunning. The hill is NOT a problem, only if you're lazy - and is only a slight effort in the heat of the day, and not a problem in the evening. The staff were lovely, Pamela (you'll find her at the bar) was the most kindest helpful person, take her advice on places to visit as she won't let you down!
The pool was lovely and there was always plenty of sunbeds, shaded garden for any toddlers to escape the heat, nice open space to enjoy the sun. Snacks are available at the bar and are good value for money - the pints of Mythos went down well as my boyfriend would say!
We spent every night at the bar after venturing back from Tsilivi, the family are lovely and keep you well entertained with live music, shots, football, cocktails and peanuts!
You MUST take a visit to the Shipwreck as you won't see water so blue anywhere else, absolutely stunning!
We loved every minute of it, and would recommend it to everyone. We were completely taken in by the family and made to feel at home. We've promised to go back and we certainly will do!
Can't wait to see them all again, and see how little Elena grows up!

IGNORE ANY BAD REVIEWS! some people are just moaners!
well were do i start ill try keep it short. tsilivi is the perfect location and ariadne is the best hotel! as for the steep hill to the hotel that ppl mention its not that bad unless your 80, its just a bit hard work in the heat but its worth it as the view from your room is amazing!
i have added a pic of the hill to reach hotel
The hotel is family ran and every1 is friendly and very trustworthy.
The pool is very nice always clean and theres a little baby pool and little jacuzzi pool.
the room was cleaned 2 or 3 times a week with fresh towels, cleaners were trustworthy i left things out all the time including my mobile phone.
the tsilivi strip is just nice not too mad but lots of bars shops and restraunts, the places to book trips are much cheaper than with the rep, we booked 3 trips with them and never had any problems. everythink was perfect i wanted to stay longer ! we eat out over night we were there and never had a bad meal everythink was gorgeous! the beaches were nice and clean.
tsilivi is about 19 euros in a taxi to laganas aka blackpool which i did not like! and 10 euros to zante town, as the island is small its easy to get round n see everywere , take your driving licence as it is good to have a car to see the whole island !
i would defo come back and i defo reccomend it to everyone!
go for 2 weeks! you will love it

Had a superb 2 weeks at the ariadne, Helen and Costas make you all feel very welcome as do Giannis and Pamela.
Giannis does a fab rock nite on a friday we highly recommend you go along to this. The apartments were kept lovely and clean by the maids with lots of bed and towel changes, the pool and area around it is also spotless. There is a hill to walk up and down to the restaraunts but its a small price to pay!!!!!!! The views are stunning, came back and booked up again for next year x x x

Myself and husband and our teenage daughter came here for two weeksat the end june , ok so first the steep hill up ,well yes it is but after a while you do get used to it .. the rooms are very clean and spacious , would reccomend air con. the pool area is lovely no fighting for sunbeds ! the weather was great, the staff are friendly and nothing is a problem , we ate out every evening and found lovely places, Popeyes,Contessina, Athena,Nemisis,Zues,Georgios, are a few to name that served great food and wine ! places to drink Breeze bar very chilled place , Two brothers is ok but bit tacky not our thing,
Trips we did the island tour by boat a little boring tbh, but was lovely to go to see smugglers cove and get off for a swim, we walked to the waterpark in Tsvili thats a good day also we went twice, the beach is great also sea is very clear , we went to Laganas and saw Turtles whilst out on a pedleo ! thats a must ! all in all a great holiday had by all we loved it and would go back

We stayed for 2 weeks mid may.
The Hotel was excellent, we were most impressed with how Costas kept the pool area absolutely squeeky clean.
Friday nights were the best when 2short played (Giannis and Shorty) excellent music. Everyone at the Ariadne made us feel very welcome and gave us great advice on where to eat and go out.
Pamela and Giannis who run the bar most of the time are great company, Helen makes the nicest breakfasts and lunches, and Elena is super cute :-)
We hope to visit again on our next holiday and have already recommended it to our friends and family.
The hill is steep but well worth the view and peacefulness when you get up there.
The only bad point is the kitchenette, we have better facilities when we go camping! no grill and my husband blamed the smoke alarms going off on the bad quality frying pan and 2 ring electric hob!! (nothing to do with his cooking :0)
Thanks for a great Holiday :-)

Myself, boyfriend and family stayed at the Ariadne from May 23rd 2010 for a week.

The hotel staff are also really friendly and helpful, always happy to help and nothings to much trouble.

The hotel itself is located at the top of a hill, may not be suitable for the less mobile but we didnt find it a problem at all, its a nice walk, and you can always flag a taxi if its a problem but we walked it. The view from the rooms is fantastic, so walking up the hill is well worth it. The Ariadne is about a 5 minute slow walk into the centre of Tsilivi with its many bars and restaurants and roughly 5 minutes from the beach, which is lovely.

We stayed in a 2 bedroomed apartment, which was extremely spacious, fairly modern and very clean, our room was cleaned everyday which was great. The kitchen equipment is everything you will need with self catering, kettle, 2 rings to cook, toaster, fridge and freezer aswell as plenty cutlery and plates.

All rooms are sea/pool facing although if you are on the ground floor, you may not be able to view the sea, but still have the pool view which is great. The hotel itself is kept very clean the pool area is fab, there was always enough sunbeds we didnt have a problem getting one, pool was lovely although a little bit cold for me but everyone else enjoyed it lol.

Most of the studio rooms are located on the ground floor aswell as the 3rd floor from what I could see, and the studios where also lovely, plenty of room in there also.

The pool bar serves food and drink, which was reasonably priced, chips, club sandwiches, homemade pizzas and greek salads which where lovely, and much more.
Theres a little playground near the pool for kids to have fun in aswell, and 2 pool tables in the pool bar.

Tsilivi is a lovely resort, lots of bars and tasty restaraunts, people are really friendly a must eat at is the 'King Prawn' restaraunt, great seafood and the Rack of ribs just looked amazing, we ate out most nights, another nice one was called 'Tsilivi' located about 5 minutes down the road in Tsilivi, the guy nearly got knocked over coming over to talk to us so we thought we should at least try his restaraunt and it turned out to be lovely.

Theres an enormous mini golf course aswell, and its literally ENORMOUS located in the centre of Tsilivi, Also an arcade centre for the kids, has a bucking bronco etc in it.

Bars, there are many... a few nights we went into Ark Bar, the atmosphere was fab and its was packed out most nights, the bar men are very entertaining especially George, the place just comes alive, setting fire to the bar, free shots etc.
The cocktails in Planet Bar where gorgeous, especially the Strawberry Daquiries and TVR... and Level Bar.

Excursions, we booked on tsilivi main street, we did the Waterpark which was great and reasonably priced roughly around 18 euro if I remeber rightly. We also did a boat trip to the Shipwreck, the cove itself was great but the beach wasnt to brilliant but the water was crystal clear, brilliant for snorkelling, the day itself was really long though as the boat went right round Zante island, the half day trip would probably have been better, we where all exhausted.

Price wise, we went self catering and found the price to eat out pretty resasonable considering the Euro is so low. We where paying ROUGHLY around 37- 40 Euro for a meal for 2, including 2 staters 2 mains and a drink or 2 each...

Overall we had a fantastic time, would definately reccomend this hotel mainly to families and couples.
