I stayed here with my 18 month old baby and husband. We travelled with my mam and dad, 13 yr old brother, older brother and 4 yr old niece on the 14th of July. First off I would say that all of us never struggled with meal times. You must be very picky if you can't find something. You're in Greece, of course the food is gonna be Greek!!
The staff are great, especially the restaurant staff and George in the pool bar.
I was worried after reading some reviews that this was gonna be the holiday from hell but please don't be put off with some of the negative comments.

Just returned from 14 nights at strofades beach hotel and must say overall very disappointed. Food very cheap. Pasta rice and chopped lettuce every lunch and dinner. Then it reappeared next time as pasta bake or something. Snacks at bar was always ham cheese lettuce and mayonnaise rolls cut into quarters...every day!Maids were lazy. Rooms swept and this was swept under furniture. By end of holiday we had a nice pile of sand etc next to walls. Drinks ran out every day and you had to wait for delivery including soft drinks (3 out of 5 pumps on machine out of order) no towels one day only to be told they didn't have any more as so many guests had come in. Rooms very worn and sink and bath badly marked. On hotel notes it said WiFi in room but that only worked in reception... in room was out of range! wouldn't go there again. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Room Tip: Choose a room in another hotel!!

I stayed at Strofades Beach Hotel for 10 nights with my family and we really enjoyed our holidays. It is only 15mins drive from the airport, located 100m from a beautiful sand beach, a little away from the Tsilivi center.
We liked the food and drinks (the buffets always included at least one traditional Greek meal). All the staff was very nice, always happy to help. Even though we experienced minor organizational / logistic issues, you cannot get angry with the friendly personnel! :-)

just got back from this hotel it was not the best hotel i have ever stopped in the front line staff are very nice and have a lot to contend with
on arriving after a early start i was told my room was not ready and had to wait another 3 hrs after 24 hrs i realise my room was not air conditioned and had to ask why
after 3 days they did install it but on the final day it started to leak so i was offered another room which i happily excepted
2 days later there was a accident in the bathroom to which the sink fell from the wall and if there was a child in the bathroom at the time could have been a very different story i consulted the receptionist the following morning
after arriving back to my room later that day i was told the manager wanted to see me of which i declined and consulted my agent thomas cook they dealt with the problem respectfully but i did feel the hotel thought i had vandalised the room which was not the case it was a very old bathroom
as for the food it does not cater for the english the meats consists of a bolognase meat chicken wings and sprat like fish very repertive food no sweets or deserts this is suppose to be a all inclusive hotel most english people lived on salad and bread as there little else to eat and certainly nothing for children as for the drinks well they run out everyday even fizzy drinks and thats why people with children go all inclusive would i stay at this hotel again a most defiant NO
it is run on a daily budget it also is the only all-inclusive hotel that does not use wrist bands so any one can wander in

Room Tip: i really can not think of one

We stayed here from the 26th june for one week and found it a very enjoyable holiday. At the start there was a error with allocating room which lead to us being given a room with no balcony/terrace as we had booked. Yet the staff looked in to it and by the next morning we had a new room with both a pool and sea view as well as refunds of purchased extras such as the safe as a good will gesture.
The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly especially the pool bar man George. The maid service was excellent clean bedding and towels every morning as well as small touches such as shaping our pyjamas on the bed in to bows and other shapes. The room was large having a dressing table, tv, fridge and hot drink making facilities. It had a good sized bathroom containing both shower and bath, which was always very clean. The pool area was really nice and location excellent just on the beach and a 10/15 walk in to the centre of Tsilivi. The drinks seemed to run low at time to time though, one morning providing neither apple nor orange juice or any sodas till past mid day by the pool. Yet there was only one day that this happened so may have just been a one off and we had no other problems with drinks after this, yet admittedly we went out to the town every evening as opposed to staying around the pool, the local bar are truly lovely and very reasonable prices.
The food was the main thing that let this holiday down having only a choice of 8 hot dishes each night, one being a pork, fish, chicken, pasta, pie and potato dish so it seemed to repeat itself often, the "Traditional Greek dishes" came with no explanation as to what they were often leading to confusion. Yet if you are rather open minded as to trying new foods this would suit you more than it did me and my partner. Dessert as well tended to be one "Traditional Greek dish" again without explanation and some jellys that often ran out and were not replaced, yet ice cream was also available at both lunch and dinner.

Overall this hotel was a wonderful place to stay and suited our needs with everything but the food, yet we broke it up by eating out a couple of times. Would definitely recommend especially if you were planning on eating out anyway.

We returned from this hotel yesterday. The staff are the strength, all are friendly and polite. In particular George and Tomas! They had a very hard job as the bar despite being totally all inclusive kept running out of drinks. On at least 9 days out of 14 when I asked for my first drink they had run out of alcohol! Cheeky as all inclusive. Despite our rep from Thomas Cook telling the management this was unacceptable it kept happening. Lots of nationalities use this hotel and some like neat gin and vodka in large quantities, no excuse though if the hotel has accepted bookings on an all inclusive basis!
The food was ok, quite a good variety although not a lot of puddings available. Again if some things ran out in the restaurant they weren't always replaced so any later diners went without. The restaurant has too many tables in it so it is quite uncomfortable at some of the tables. It was very busy and sometimes you had to wait for a table. The restaurant could do with being bigger. The hotel was quite clean and there were regular bed linen and towel changes. The hotel is only a stones throw from the beach but it doesn't have any sun beds on the beach. There are plenty for hire at 6 euros for two with a parasol. The hotel is situated next to the best part of Tsilivi beach and on the edge of the resort. You can walk by road or beach to the centre in about 10 minutes. The beds are quite hard and some of the rooms are not well situated being right behind the pool bar area. The music can be loud at times but it does stop before midnight. The evening entertainment provided by the hotel is poor, the Greek dancing is ok but the singer that performs on the same night is terrible. We enjoyed the hotel because of the staff and the location but because of the size of the dining room and the lack of drinks at times I think it is more suited as a bed and breakfast hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet high floor room to avoid the pool bar rooms. There are only 4 stories max and there...

We stayed in May 14 for a family holiday, 2 adults & 2 children. Room was clean and tidy, double bed and bunks, all comfy. Cleaned daily.
Food, not the best all inclusive, 3 set meal times, and 1 tray of snacks at 11 & 4, for all guests, not topped up and no other snacks throughout the day. Breakfast finished a little early for a holiday and we did miss it once or twice too.
Very close to the beach, and a nice stroll to the main town, would recommend eating out.
Drinks, pool bar open til 12, lobby bar only open at mealtimes! No entertainment on at night, so very quiet. Little play area for children kept them entertained. Pool table and football table but you need change for them.
All in all a good holiday.
