“Really, Really good!”
Reviewed 6 June 2013

We stayed in Manousis apartments from 16th - 30th May 2013. We were welcomed by Sakis, Roulla and Yannis on arrival and shown to our apartment. We had an apartment with a double room and a second bedroom with two single beds,The rooms were spotless, light and airy. I discovered the hairdryer in the room was not working and it was replaced within 5 minutes of reporting this.

The Sunday evening 'free' buffet and quiz night were fun and the BBQ and Greek dancing on Tuesday evening an absolute must. Sakis, Roulla & Yannis work really hard and take part in all the activities.

During the first week of our stay it was quite quiet in the resort and aquiring a sun bed around the pool was no problem. The 2nd week was half term in the U.K. and it got busier. Towels were placed on sunbeds at 8.00 a.m. and remained there all day whether the people used the sunbeds or not.

My only complaint would be about the provision of toilet rolls. The first one, on arrival is provided but after that you need to buy your own. The studios and apartments are self catering but do not provide tea- towels to dry the dishes and you need to make sure you take a washing line and pegs as no clothes airers are provided.

Room Tip: Over the garden, not the pool area.

Just returned from the Manousis in Tsilivi. Totally agree with reviews below. Had a fantastic 2 weeks 9th may. In a great position away from the noise but easy to get to beach etc. Free sunbeds and deck-chairs at the cafe on the beach to the right on the road past the football ground. Delicious food served at Manousis.Roulla even came in early to cook me a full breakfast as I had an early flight. Thanks again Roulla. The personal touch is what you get here. The Greek night was the best ever. The bus into Zante town gets very full from Popeye corner so I would suggest walking to the bus stop further up the road. The property is on the flat so no problem for those with walking difficulties. The best outings are with Nefis travel and I would recommend the" back to the roots trip."I was in a pool view studio which was very spacious.Toaster, kettle, small oven.It had 3 beds and still plenty of room.Don't need to carry your water from the supermarket either, Sakkis is cheaper. For those in a ground floor studio I left my clothes line.Just need some pegs. Enjoy.

Room Tip: being on the end ,room 106 ground floor gets a nice breeze.

I wish I could write that this is one of the worst places I have ever stayed at, only because by telling the truth more people will wish to go there and and I may miss out. Was there from May 9 for 14 nights and will return in September/October. After five visits still can not find any faults in fact now Yiannis is doing more cooking it is even better. We organised a Kleftiko evening and even the most travelled of the guests admitted it was the best they have ever tasted and not far behind it was the sirloin steak on the bone evening a couple of days later. The Greek night, takes place every Tuesday, is not to be missed at less than 12 euros, a greek platter is served with wine and the three dancers were brilliant. The meal was served at 8.30 and the entertainment finished around midnight. Great rooms, nice pool, everything spotless and brilliant owners. Roll on September!!!!

Room Tip: The new block away from the pool (10 rooms) are more spacious and to be expected cost a little more...

Fantastic hotel, mainly aimed at the slightly older guests, we are 25 and were the youngest there, but we still had a great time. They did everything to make our stay great, from free Buffetts to Greek nights with food, wine and dancing included.
( be aware you WILL have to dance )

The place was kept very clean and the pool has pleanty of sunbeds, and there tends not to be any towlels left guarding them.
The hotel is 5 to 10 mins walk from the restraunts and bars, theres plenty to choose from, the hotel food is also great,' Yiannis' is a fantastic chef the food is also well priced and great quality. All in all this place is a brilliant family run hotel. I will deffently be returning.

A superb location in Tsilivi. Its close enough to the nightlife to walk, but far enough away to not suffer from the noise. Approx 5 minutes from the beach. The staff are wonderful here and are mostly from the same family. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
