We loved this place. Hired a car and drove with our 2-year old a bit dubious as to whether it would be ok for a toddler. Waterfalls are down a track but ok for cars. Parked at the obvious parking spot and then walked down a wide sandy track about 400 yds to get to the falls. You can hear them from the parking spot. At the bottom, small little tracks through the trees with good bridges over the small pools and falls, perfectly ok for an active toddler walking well. Water is a spectacular blue colour, lots of butterflies. Lovely place. On the way back up is a lovely Taverna run by a friendly couple. Had the most wonderful lunch, souvlaki, fried potatoes, Greek salad and tsadsiki. Delicious!

..its a great and rather easy experience, to visit the waterfalls and swim under, especially if you have kids over 6y.o. Try the "shadow" path to reach especially when hot, its more adventurous but needs normal shoes and being careful on the slopes.
We include this adventure every time we go to Pylos and reward ourselves with a chilly dive.!

The combination of all that water and nature is simply great. Weather permitting, once the water is not so cold you can enjoy swimming in the lake.

These Polylimnio waterfalls are superb.
The site is accessible by a well marked country road that branches off at Kazarma. Almost all the road is paved. There is a parking place about 300 meters from the site.
The first two basins and falls are accessible by a footpath and bridge.
Be sure to wear sturdy shoes or excursion sandals, as you may want to continue from there through water and ascend around the large boulders.

The Polilimnio, waterfalls with small ponds is ideal for a cool and refreshing break during the Holidays at Peloponnese. There is not much space around and the ponds are very small but you can swim in the largest of them. Avoid July-August period, too hard to even reach them.
