We stayed for a weekend in DianiSea Lodge, the beach access from here with the white sandy beach is the best in this area. Food and drinks are served in plenty and a great garden. The restaurnat offers a lot of food and fruits for everyone.

Room Tip: We had a garden room and stayed whole day on the beach, carried everything we needed in a small bag

A great site, however the hotel is tired to say the least. Water drains, electric rooms etc. paid extra for room upgrade. Got a very old fashioned tv (only two channels) plus a small old fridge. The staff however were fantastic, I have never known a group of people so keen to please.

Very little to do on the site entertainment during the day was poor evenings a bit repetitive.

Food fair and plenty of it, beer pathetic.

Beach boys were a nuisance.

We were the only English people as the rest seemed to be German (it is owned and run by Germans).

Food was terrible, no choice and we were sick for most of the time. Pool never cleaned my niece dropped a toy at bottom and was still there 3 days later. Staff avoid customers at all costs no offers of help with sun loungers etc. Room dirty cockroaches and ants in there. Double bed was two single mattresses put on a double frame very uncomfortable. Fan in the children's room health and safety hazard couldn't use it! Showers are salt water didn't feel clean the whole time there. I live in Kenya and holiday by the coast often only booked this because my usual hotel was full - never again I'd rather stay at home!!. This is by far the worst hotel I've stayed in and for those visiting the country they give it a bad name!

We paid 19,500 ks for three people 5 days . That's £40 a day each fully inclusive . All drinks free alcohol or not . Breakfast great . Rooms immaculate and hot hot water . We arrived off the ferry , disheartened after going with a tout to see terrible hotels . Everything this site tells you not to don, we did . So when we arrived here after insisting we went to a resort we were overjoyed .

Having just returned from Diani sea Lodge after a 2 week holiday with my girlfriend I can only say good things about this hotel. We were unsure about it at first after reading previous reviews but we loved it. Firstly the staff to this hotel are a credit every single member of staff are so polite and have all the time in the world for you. Everyone greets you with Jambo or have a nice day. The animation team are Fantastic Victor, Safari, Daniel, Irene and Mishi they are forver organising activities and have a great sense of humour, our holiday would not have been the same without them. Actvities such as Beach Volleyball, Beach football, coconut throwing and bowls along with other activities are all on offer.

The food in the hotel is the only thing that could be a bit better. Breakfast was good with choice of sausages, bacon, eggs and other traditional breakfast foods. We opted for lunch in the snack bar with choices such as pizza, chips, burgers and toasties and dinner varied each night sometimes it was good other times not so good. Again the staff in the restaurant are so friendly and helpful.

The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. We did not spend much time in here except for sleeping but were cleaned on a daily basis and met our needs.

As for other comments the monkeys are not to much of a bother infact sometimes it is kind of funny the only hassle i had in the whole 2 weeks was a monkey stealing my fanta but the security are forever scaring them off if they are bothering anyone.

The Beachboys are annoying the first couple of days but then become friends with you they are only trying to make a living. We didn't buy off them and it was no problem at all. Although I would say don't go to the shop of the guy who trys to give you a keyring with your name on it he trys to rip you off.

Overall we had a great stay in the Diani Sea Lodge and would go back in a minute

Room Tip: the far away rooms can be quite dark at night to get to so ask for one near the reception if possibl...
