Nice restaurant with a good view of the Indian ocean from the deck. Waiters were attentive and selection of food good. We ordered a pizza - nice, chicken - good and a fish dish - chunky and dry! Otherwise ok.

Thank you for your comments! Sorry, that the fish dish was not to your likes! Kitchen promised to be more careful with the preperation of fish dishes in future!

Best Hotel in Diani Beach. Great food and extremely nice and well trained staff. Lovely accessoires and decoration. Room perfect. Located at the beach. Don't miss feeding the bush babies and grab the bag to help collecting trash from the beach(what a great idea, very important to raise awareness)!

Just returned from a week's stay at The Sands at Nomad. We had previously stayed on Chale Island, which is a fabulous place, but wanted a change. I would like to thank Richard and Claudia and all their staff for the excellent hospitality and service throughout the stay. After the Kenyan holiday weekend, we were upgraded to the Peponi Suite, which was incredibly generous of Richard, and for me demonstrated excellent "customer service". The suite is excellent, large bed, bathroom and a fantastic terrace. The Restaurant food was also great, there is a good selection of dishes from various cuisines, and thus plenty to "plough" through during the week. The hotel has a very intimate feel, and the staff were incredibly attentive to my very active 4 year old. The hotel is right on the beach. It is also where the dive centre Diving The Crab is located, which is a very professionally run outfit too. A really fantastic week, thanks to all the staff at The Sands.

My family just spent two nights at this hotel which was a perfect way to end our trip to Kenya.

Firstly, the beach in front of this hotel is absolutely beautiful and very clean. Be aware no beach chairs are allowed on the beach. We did a two hour excursion to the sand bar in front of the hotel which was super fun and even more gorgeous. It is windy here so it’s hard to snorkel.

We were upgraded to a beach front cottage. The room was a good size as was the bathroom, but possibly more rustic then expected. We had an issue in the bathroom but the staff was incredibly quick to fix it for us.

The pool is 5m deep but really warm. Our 10 year old son loved it. He also liked the nice touch of bush baby feedings nightly by the pool.

One of the most pleasant surprises of this hotel was the restaurant. We did the half board plan which was completely worth it. Each meal was really really good.

The staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful.

This was my first trip to Diani but will not be the last. I have created a youtube video review of the hotel to cover some of the services available at the hotel.

Anyway, I wanted somewhere nice to stay which had decent food and generally a good service. The staff were amazing, from beginning nothing was to great for the staff to do. They wanted to help out whenever they could.

The bed was made up with a welcome message when we arrived and in the evening the net was placed down by the staff and sprayed to keep the insects away.

The pool is great for adults but not good for small children because of the depth of the pool. The drinks available from the pool bar are very varied and you can also order food from the main restaurant to be transported to the pool if needed.

The hotel sits right on the beach along the vertical run of Africa. There are a lot of hotels up and down the beach which you can see as you walk along. However the Nomad restaurant had the best food on the beach where you can see lovely sea views.

This hotel made my holiday great and I will be returning again if I am ever in Diani in the future.

Room Tip: New beach front apartments being renovated providing the best views
