Description: Restaurant "El Muelle de Arriate" is located in the trainstation of Arriate, one of the White Villages close to Ronda.A tapas restaurant with quite a range of tapas and plates. As we work with fresh ingredients many times we also offer a new "invention" wich you will not find on our menu. We take special care of your children and with us you can have an early dinner if you like.In summer with spectacular views from the terrace along the railway line towards the mountains of the Sierra de las Nieves. In winter close to the fireplace. We are open for lunch and dinner.

Ate at this El Muelle earlier in the week and came back 3 days later. The food was excellent. Frank, the owner, was the entertainment. He made recommendations for each course, which were enjoyed by all of our group. Our group shared everything so that we could experience more. Had two different salads which were the best I had ever had. Frank constantly had us laughing and provided great service. If I am ever back in Arriate, I will definitely go back!

In spite of the fact that we were a large and raucous party who probably frightened away the rest of his customers, Frank could not have been a more gracious host! He came outside to welcome us in, explained the menu and recommended dishes and wine, all of which were beautifully presented and delicious. Traditional tapas in some ways, celebrating local produce but innovatively done and a cut above the average in terms of style. Our vegetarian was wonderfully and attentively catered for. The restaurant is a beautiful old railway building with a gorgeous view over the valley. Frank joined us for a glass of wine and shared some of his story with us, before talking us into some of the most delicious desserts I've ever had in Spain. Basically, you should just trust Frank and let him feed you whatever he likes! The bill was around a very reasonable €250 for nine of us including about 8 bottles of wine. Highly recommended and I wish Frank every success with this venture and his future plans.

We stayed in Arriate and due to a running event were thwarted in getting to our villa. Being tired and hungry from journey from UK stopped in for Tapas, immediately welcomed and despite one of party being quite ill from traveling and a non garlic eating, vegetarian nothing was too much trouble for Frank. Best Tapas we had ever eaten. Went back a few nights later after a long days cycling for a celebration meal, couldn't have been better. Local produce, imaginatively cooked, with great wine and attentive host. More expensive than many local places but much cheaper than most quality restaurants in Rondo thoroughly recommended.
