“Super Excellent Resort....Out of this world service !!”
Reviewed 11 June 2014

We stayed there last weekend along with 15 other friends and it sure was a holiday to remember.
The staff were extremely courteous and efficient even while handling a full hotel.
Nothing was too much trouble for this lovely bunch of people..

I did not appreciate the manner in which a few other guests were behaving with the ever-polite staff at the man restaurant and there was one instance where I saw obnoxious behavior directed towards a server by a young Indian couple who did not understand that the concept of a buffet is "self-service" and not "service on the table".

The 75-acre property in itself, is easily the best luxury resort in Goa and having stayed at all the other top-end resorts,I can certainly vouch for this.

Anyway,I wish to thank The Leela Goa for a super luxury experience and we will be back soon .........

Room Tip: The Lagoon suites are divine....choose a suite with the baclony facing the morning sun...

I was staying at The Leela during the last week of May and what a stay....my wallet goes missing from my room...is stolen and the attitude of the GM was utterly disappointing.....not even once did Mr.Nair meet me or speak to me or even write across....the wallet is still missing and the culprit is still hanging out there at the hotel....but the Hotel Management does not have the courage to admit that the culprit is one of their own employees.very disappointed not because my wallet was stolen.....but disappointed to see the ATTITUDE of the Management and this is is the Service Industry...the kind of stress I am going through.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your feedback and as we have highlighted to you many times before, the matter is now with the local police who are investigating this complaint.

It will be unfair for us to make any comment on this matter ( your claim of theft of the wallet from the room ) even while the investigation by the police is still continuing.

Both our Rooms Division Manager and our Director-Security have been in continuous touch with you over this issue ever since you checked out of the hotel.
We are also surprised at your reluctance to at least acknowledge the significant assistance provided to you by the hotel and our Director-Security in this matter who managed to get the FIR lodged with the police without you having to visit the police station even once.

We have already shared the results of our internal investigation with you and it is being grossly prejudiced to blame our staff for this incident without having any kind of evidence whatsoever.
Being a responsible hotel group,The Leela Hotels are committed to stringently abide by the law of the land and I once again assure you that we have done everything possible within the ambit of the law to investigate your claim.

Thank you and regards,

Was last week in Goa with my family for a small vacation. Pickup was by a BMW 5 Series from the airport and this meant the things to come will be really wonderful. This was because we were the only people in that particular flight going to Leela.

Stayed in the suite room. Great room with two separate bathrooms, two televisions and a good sized sofa cum bed for the kids. Highly recommended for a family with kids till 15 years.

Special thanks to Gyandeep, Nityanand, Savio and the rest of the team who are in charge of the restaurant. Some may complain that there is less variety but for us, the variety was more than enough and we need to justify the excellent food which was served. There is no use to just taste some food without deriving pleasure from what you are eating. Kudos.

For the property, it has been recently renovated so no major hiccups. However, the tiles in the pool have come off in some areas which needs maintenance.

Was pleasantly surprised to note that the room cleaners came twice in the day and each time replenished the 6 mineral water bottles. This is a small matter in terms of cost but the convenience of having 12 mineral water bottles a day during the summers is eternal bliss. Highly commendable.

The go carts/buggy's are always in short supply. Would really wish they would have an additional 10-12 carts running on the property.

The additional charges for playing golf are a bit exhorbitant. We played mini-golf on the course but wish the charges would be less.

The beach is one of the best in Goa. It is not private but is well maintained and we had a great time.

Hope to come again soon. Had a great memorable vacation. Thanks all.

Stayed here for four days from 1st to 5th June. Went with my husband and kids, son aged eighteen and daughter seventeen. We had a wonderful time. The property is huge with lots of place to cycle around. The rooms were big, clean, well maintained and the mini bar well stocked. Cleaning of the rooms was done twice daily. There were golf buggies to take us around if we did not want to walk. The breakfast had enough variety, with Indian, continental and Chinese fare. The pool is situated nicely and was not crowded. There is a golf course, but sadly the instructor was missing and so I could not try it out, which was a bit of a dispassionatment. Above all the staff was very, very friendly and genuine. It is hard to come across such wonderful people. It is worth going here just for the superb service and genuine warmth. When my daughter fell off her cycle, the wonderful lady at the concierge really took good care of her. best of all the place is so huge one does not bump into too many guests and has a lot of privacy. The only down side is there is no transport outside the hotel for several kilometers, the hotel taxis are VERY expensive. Also during off season there are no restaurants open close by except Fisherman's wharf.

The property is located in South Goa. Very peaceful and rejuvenating facilities. Wonderful place to chose it as couples. You can have plenty of quality time to strengthen and revitalise your relationships. The private beach is clean. The resort have beautiful swimming pools. Multi cuisine facilities are very nice. Staff is very cordial and nice. If you area person with party and people, you will have to take a ride all the way to north Goa. We chose their Lagoon Facilities for accommodation. This was very nicely managed, clean and well decorated.

After so much of discussion regarding destination and resort , we finally planned for Goa trip and decided to stay 2 nights in some other resort and one night in The Leela Goa.When we entered we have been welcome according to indian tradition with beautiful warm smile by staff and served coconut water. We have been advice to sit in a lounge on the reception and smooth check in and allocation of rooms.the person from reception itself Mr.Atul directed us to our rooms. We have been booked terrese laggon rooms... quite big in size, with bautiful bath area , equipped with all mordern ammenities and top of that beautiful view of lagoons full with pink lili flowers.

Neat and clean swimming pool , Pool side Bar and neat and clean Beach just a few steps away.
Last but not the list ...food - The Restaurant -Offering Multicuisne Variey on A-la carte as well as buffet.... Longest buffet set up , I have ever seen along with wide desert variey ...and something for everyone.Needless to mention that Breakfast was equally ellobrated and numbers of variey.
As we have been booked on only Breakfast basis we decided to a-la carte order for dinner and ordered for Pizza and which was wood fired papper thin pizza with authentic Italian flavour. Not to be miss while at Leela.
Its a huge property spreded in 75 accers of land along with 4000 tress , were making the enviornment really green and beautiful...
One must experience the stay ... More then worth you pay..
