Not far from the Airport in Pisa this place is quite easy to get to. The wonderful and friendly Luna greeted us upon arrival and showed us to our room and gave us a tour of the hotel. It is located in a valley so that makes it a bit tricky to get arround if you are unfit (and not driving). If you are in shape, the hills give you a great opportunity to go for a run!
One thing to consider is that there aren't many restraurant around, and (at least while we where there) Luna's restaurant was only opened three days a week. On the plus side, what a restaurant! I have been to Italy a number of times and I love the food, but this was something out of the ordinary. I don't think there was one dish that we didn't like. Also the prices are really good.
So, the pros and cons of this place. The biggest pro, I would have to say, is the restaurant! Other pros it that it was really calm, and quiet. We really got a good nights sleep after long days on the road. The cons would be that it takes a while to get to the highways, and that makes almost every trip take an hour longer than it has to. Also there is some noice from a stream and a factory nearby, but at least that didn't bother us.
