The hotel rooms are clean and very nice our room had a balcony, it was Roomy aswell, the staff are very friendly and sociable, the hotel was superb! Food was great and tasty, the entertainment was good! There is a lot to do at the hotel as they do different activities. Overall our holiday was amazing! Such a brilliant hotel would definitely recommend to a friend.

Room Tip: A room with 2 rooms has a balcony with a lovely view!

We (wife, myself and 2 children (girls 17 & 10)) stayed 10 days early August at the San Miguel park and had a good time, helped by the constant sunshine the entire stay.
we arrived in Ibiza at 2am on a night flight which I wouldn't recommend as most of the passengers were destined for the night club capital and were drunk before they got on the plane. hats off to the air crew who have to put up with theses people on a daliy bais.

We got a cab from the airport (44 euros) and arrived around 2:40 at the complex. the night porter gave us a key and explained the layout and meal times. A little disapointed with the location of the room near the lower section of the complex over looking the hill side, but was happy to arrive and get a bed. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise as wasn't to far from the pool and restaurant, but enough not to hear the poolside noise. The room was basic, but clean plenty of room, air con, fridge, a nice balconly (the view although not sea facing, reminded us of the holidays the the greek isles), The maids did a great job cleaning as ours looked like someone has throw a hand grenade in and closed the door most days.

No complaints around the poolside got a sunbed & matteress every day (but to reserve the best spots you need to be down around 8am). There are 2 pools, the upper pool is quiet with no entertainment and a small bar, but great views over the beach, and the lower pool with all the activites and jacussi. The selection of AI drinks were ok and sustained us throughout our stay along with the ice cream not just the normal little tubs, but cornetto types, which went down well with the kids.

Free Wifi in the hotel lounge, which was full of pasty looking teenagers complaining how slow it is whilst they practised there electronic social skills (our own included). What a generation we have begat!!

Like many reviews the 2 entertainment guys worked hard and did thier best with the resource they had, and went round and spoke to everyone. The activities ranged from football, water volleyball, darts, pool. kids face painting. The two activities which the kids enjoyed most was the foam party round the pool and the shuffle board. You get the customary certificate presented in the evening should you win. I personally liked the organised walk up to the old lookout tower which you can go up and overlooks the whole bay(great photos), it takes about 45mins and you would need trainers as the track is a little rough (not for thoses who suffer from vertigo). You can also book free kayaks (pm only) which is great to explore the bay. You also got tokens to present at the local beach bar for soft drinks and beer only which was a plus.

The evening entertainment was basic, quiz nights, local singer (who was very good), dancers. one drawback was the AI bar closed at 11pm and they start to clear up the table and chairs around the pool and made you feel it was time to go to bed. Brits abroad, for some reason only known to almighty alone certain parents feel that once they have checked in it becomes the hotels responsibility to look after their children for the duration whilst they over indulge in the all inclusive bar. Some children around the pool needed to be, how shall we say "refocused", come to think of it some parents aswell! but this didn't affect the overall holiday and you can't allow for that (unless you take a taser).

The food as many have said is basic, but was suffice for what we paid and we never went hungry. We ate out a couple of evenings, there is a fish restaurtant on the beach front which looked nice, however you will need a small mortage a main course will set you back around 35-40 euros, with a family of 4 inc drinks it would be about 200 euros!! I think I worked out that we could get a return cab to Ibiza town, have a meal in the castle grounds overlooking the sea and still have change from 200 euros.

Port de San Miguel is very beautiful, but very quiet one real late bar (Casey's) 2 restaurtants we ate at TomTom's (the one we could afford) and a few snack bars. There is a few Spar type shops, but that is it! Point to note: there is no cash machine in this resort, this caught alot of people out, including us, we usally take around 300 euros to get us going then draw out what we want. the nearest cashpoint is in San Miguel 6km away.

In summary better than we expected when we first arrived, partly due to the people we met (thanks to Emma, Dave and Jess who made our holiday), the complex has a very intimate feel and all nationalities got on well and joined in with different activites without being overwhelming.
Not sure we will return as we like a few more bars and restaurants in the resort, but still had a great time.

Went for a week in early august with my wife 5 year old son and 3 year old daughter. The room was better than expected with good beds and facilities with the air con a god send in the heat. The hotel was great for the kids with all the activities on offer. The staff were all very hard working and friendly especially the kids entertainer Tiberius a genuinely nice fella who seemed to get on with all and made a real effort with the kids. The resort is not the biggest but the sea is lovely all the usual watersports on offer. The food was average but more than enough variety to keep most happy. The evening shows were cheesy but what do you expect at a 2 star hotel the west end. Overall a very happy family.

restaurant is more like canteen, not a lot of choices for food but ok, there are too many steep slopes and steps, we went in the school holidays but could always get a sunbed round the pools
the entertainment was good for the children the animation team worked hard.

Room Tip: we had room 604 which had 2 large balconys one with 2 sunbeds

We have just returned form a 10 day holiday to this resort. We had booked into a seaview apartment which was definitely worth the money. The walk back to the apartments , as pointed out by many others , is very steep but you soon get used to it and it is worth it. We were right next to the pool and had a massive balcony so didn't have to worry about sun loungers. The pool by the seaview apartments is nice and quiet with plenty of sun loungers. There is a bar there too which is open in the morning and afternoon and only closed when lunch is being served. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. This is definitely a great place for families and the entertainment is geared towards families with younger children. We were a little surprised at how small the restaurant is but you can eat on the terrace so there was never a problem with getting seated and there were never any queues. The food was a little odd and varied but there were 6 different choices of salads and always a pasta/rice dish , always a meat dish and fish dish and always a vegetable dish as well as fries every day. Everything is freshly cooked and tasty but it can be quite an odd combination of food. Was worth having all inclusive as drinks and ice cream are available all day and there are very few places to eat in the resort. The resort itself is nice and quiet and the beach is not too busy and is literally a 5 minute walk. There are lots of water activities as well. Drinks at the beach bar are also included as well as the kayaking. We have three teenage children so , although the entertainment was geared to younger children , they all had a great time just chilling in the sun and enjoying the pool

Room Tip: I can't comment on the rooms nearer reception but the seaview rooms are lovely and have bigger b...

We stayed here for two weeks from 6th July, and we really enjoyed it. We were in the top part and yes the hill is steep but we managed no problem. I think if you had mobility problems you would struggle tho. The top pool is lovely and quiet and had lovely views. There is also a bar which is only open four hours a day. I think it should have been opened all day.
We also found the food good although felt the choice was limited. There was always fresh trays of food and it was nice.
All the staff were nice and helpful.
The resort itself is very quiet but that suits us fine. The beach bar is also part of our all inclusive and you get tokens from hotel to get beer, water , or juice. The staff were always very nice to us here with the tokens, I read someone else said they weren't. We also had a few cocktails here which were lovely and a nice meal as well.
We really had a great holiday and wouldn't hesitate to return.
We stayed is a studio which was spacious, clean, good air con and sun on the balcony .

Loved our weeks stay in May. We were all inclusive, good was hit and miss and quite restricted for the vegetarian in our party but still represented great value for money. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely beach nearby. Found the top pool relaxing as pool by restaurant quite lively with kids etc. all in all a great week. Would definitely stay again.
