We stayed here last week for 1 week as we were attending a friends wedding. Nicole and her brother was very accommodating, friendly and had a surprisingly British sense of humour! Although small the room was clean, bathroom newly fitted with tiles throughout and towels and bed linen changed every day. This is most certainly a 3 star hotel and I would not hesitate in rebooking in the near future! Breakfast was basic, OJ, tea/coffee, plate of ham and cheese breads n jams ,we often had one of the amazing omelettes at a most reasonable 3 euros. The outdoor space is fantastic, nice wicker chairs with cushions, clean pool, service to your outside area ( they make gorgeous Greek and Caprese salads)and the most amazing view of megali ammos beach. Location of hotel is ideal no taxis required. Highly recommend Aria House.

The poolside area is very nice and tastefully done overlooking the sea (a 5 min walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk in to town). Rooms are pretty basic (but hey, you are only sleeping in it)! -W e had room 13 - we had asked for a double and got two twin beds. Also it was on the ground floor with no view. I would suggest asking for a poolside view room.

Edmond and the staff are really friendly and very helpful and could not fault them. The food is very good too and they are happy to make changes as per your requirement on the food.

Breakfast is again quite basic but ample if on half board, fresh bread with sliced ham, cheese and jams with coffee/tea and OJ. They have extras e.g omelettes/ fresh yoghurts with fresh fruit etc, if you want more for very reasonable price.

The drinks in Skiathos are near enough the same price everywhere, what we liked is that prices were not hiked up because you were in a hotel or with the best views. Expect to pay about €3.80 for a large beer. If buying wine ask for the 0.5/0.75 ltr carafes (about €7) A large Vodka and coke will cost around €5...cocktails about €7.

Bar Kentavros is a Jazz, Rhythm & Blues bar and the owner Christian and Adonis are really lovely. Also we liked Maria's Roof Top Bar. Don't forget to walk all the way around to the end of the port either side as you there are some great restaurants.

Remember to go off the alley ways as there is more to Skiathos than the main strip and you keep finding real gems with restaurants, bars and shops.

Would definitely stay at the Aria hotel again.

My daughter&i attended a family wedding in Skiathos and booked this hotel ten months in advance. The location was perfect and on arrival we were warmly greeted &assisted by the lovely Nicole. our room was not overlooking the pool but had a lovely patio balcony in sunshine. We had a spacious room including a fridge. Obviously we were aware before arriving that it did not include a TV or bedside lamp, no great shakes as it wasn't essential. We did find air con essential and it costs an extra five euros a day, well worth it in our opinion. The unit let us down a few times however this was swiftly and efficiently dealt with by Nicole or other members of the staff. Free Breakfast is not really what British people usually eat, however don't despair as you are able to order and pay for other delicious items quite reasonably priced. The omellettes or greek yogurt &honey extremely delicious for just a few euros. Edward the breakfast waiter is absolutely superb, he is extremely friendly, helpful and very EASY ON THE EYE :-p
The sunbathing terrace overlooking the ocean is delightful and beds and seating very comfy. The pool is not huge but big enough for this sized hotel. i did not see anyone maintaining it during our stay however this is not to say that it was neglected, I may not have been around the times it was done. Yanna (Ionna)?? Is very sweet also and will deliver drinks from the bar or coffee to you around the pool, with a lovely smile and is always cheerful and has a little chat.
Every member of staff we encountered were lovely even the cleaning ladies who complimented my daughter and I on our outfits,
when we left to attend the wedding ceremony.
The hotel is extremely clean and stylish even though it is basic. I chatted to Nicole on our departure and did suggest that this hotel could be improved by installing safety deposit boxes in the rooms or a lobby area for guests reassurance. Nobody wants to carry cash, tickets and passports around with them. Even though every member of staff appeared to be totally trustworthy you cannot trust other tourists on the island who may sneak into your room and steal personal items.
anyone fretting about their smalls &swimwear getting dry on holiday does not have to worry because this hotel provides little washing lines on the patio plus pegs....job done!
To sum this up, a fabulous time had by both in this delightful small hotel, only a short hop from the megalli ammos beach and the port. The bus stop 4 is almost outside so if you are weary or have mobility problems hop on a local bus.
A word of warning regards taxi drivers too, if they have a few seats spare do not be surprised if they stop & collect a few more to make journey profitable for them. Each party will likely get charged the full rate,eg: €15 for you and your partner then €15 for the other couple, making his fee double for what the journey should cost. Do not be afraid to speak up if you feel cheated, one couple in my hotel complained and got refunded a few days after the event.

My husband & I stayed for a week in June and had a lovely relaxing holiday. The staff are great, helpful & attentive , the rooms are basic but clean, the pool nice and the views from here are stunning. Only a few rooms come with a sea view, which we were fortunate to have, but after all , how long do you spend in your room on holiday?! The breakfast is basic , but lovely bread , along with cooked meat ,cheese ,jams etc & great coffee and the fantastic view while you have your breakfast is worth this compromise. The location of the hotel offers the tranquility of Megali Amnos with its lovely beach and handful of tavernas just a stroll down the hill one way, or the bustling main Street of Skiathos town leading down to the port with it's many tavernas and bars. We will return to Skiathos sometime and would definitely book the Aria hotel for our stay.
